INTRODUCTION
Power system analysis is a unit designed for graduate or undergraduate electrical
engineering students. Studying the design and power system analysis. The unit also equip
students with concepts of their application the situations of the real world. MATLAB and
SIMULINK help student to apply analysis to solution for the larger practical. The basic concept
of the unit is application of the circuit, line parameters of transmission and modelling and their
calculation.

Two balanced loads of 3 phase are connected parallel and the balancing supplied, three phase
400Vsource, one load draw 12kv at power lagging factor of 0.65 and other draw 10kva at a
leading power factor of 0.85.

represented by emf behind the reactance of transient. Every impendence are expresses in per unit
on the base of 100mva. and for simplicity, resistance are neglected and some assumptions are
made, the system is considered as no load and all the capacitance shunt and neglected, also all
the generator run at the rated voltage and the rated frequency with their emfs in phase.
