MAIN BODY
4. Ethical and legal issues relating treatment setting and content behaviour
Ethical issues related to general treatment setting and content behaviour which are
responsible for the issues related to the content of the treatment are patients do not get proper
facilities on time which can be a major cause of the psychological imbalance of the patients
behaviour. Patients are not provided with the timely facilities which can improvise their
treatment and safeguard health functions (Michie & et.al, 2017). If indigenous proper support is
provided with the problems related to the concerns of patient are addressed properly a favourable
conditions are created. Sometimes person in vain are ill treated. Severity of the problem is not
addressed like many of the patients are not provided with the proper treatment which affects
them mentally. Treatment in case of emergency are not addressed as the availability of staff is
not fulfilled which is major issues with the patients (Pozgar, 2019). There does not exist an open
communication channel where the treatment provided to the patients are not addressed and
explained to the patients. Which causes a mental imbalance in the minds of patients and
attenders. Work ethics are not maintained by the staff in many cases it is seen that there is an
hindrance of many ethical rights which can create a aura a shame for the reputed hospitals. In
many of the cases the treatment provided are not defined by the staff which creates a code of
misconduct and create problems. As there are people of different values and beliefs there need to
exist a measure of treatment which can be useful for the patients as well as staff. Functional
behaviour of the staff will lead the betterment of the mental effects which can be minimised to
provide safety to the workers(Wolf, 2019). The patient with mental health must be treated with
courtesy and equality which will show no discrimination against a segment. A mental health
service must be provided with the easy access and safe working providing timely treatment to the
patients.
