Production:This is the process of combining different outputs as well as inputs to bring out
effective results. In the case of Tesco company have to focus on creating utility and manage
to improve internal activities like staff and performance which increase production for the
company. Apart from this, to sustain in the market it is essential for the company to manage
to meet economic objective and it increase profit for the organization (Contreras and et. al.,
2020).
Supply chain: It define as the method of selling and making commercial good from raw
material to finished goods. Managing entire supply chain helps company to meet customers
demand and provide facilitating services. In the case of Tesco , supply chain department have
to ensure about its method and implement cost effective activities like lean manufacturing or
Six sigma method which increase overall supply chain effectively.
Logistic: This is known as the implementation of complex process which allows company to
deliver its goods and services to respective customer. In the case Tesco logistic plays an
important role inmanaging demand and supply which assist in maintaining profit for the
company.
Location strategy: It is considered as the plan, where company identify the best location for
its operation. There are certain elements which are used while developing strategy like
environment, near market cost of production and transportation.
Quality control and HR: Quality control is the method through which company manage to
keep its production as per the required standard. On the other hand HR helps organization
like Tesco to manage entire human resources in order to operate business successfully.

improve production quality which help in building brand image. For providing incentives and

bonus HR makes decision to motivate workers for achieving desire aims and objective of the
company.

Manager tends to look after the entire operation and make sure about the production is
completed on time. They are responsible for meeting needs and demand of company as per
the given instruction and also focus on smooth functioning of every department within the
organization (Lin and et. al., 2021). The poor decision, have direct impact on the performance
of the company and may leads to losses.
Difference between leadership and management
Leadership is all about getting people motivated to achieve desire aims and objective with
right guidance. On the other hand management is all about administrating entire company and
focus on fulfilling demand of its employees as per certain guidelines. For Tesco company
have to focus on its leadership and management which helps firm to achieve common goal
effectively.

person who are responsible for its employees. They have power to implement policies which

It is important for the company to take constant feedback from its employees and implement
strategies which increase employee retention. Apart from this, Tesco management can
motivate employees by providing incentives and medical insurance for lifetime as this help
company to retain employees. By introducing perks and benefits develop healthy relationship
