Introduction
Information technology refers to the usage of systems for the purpose of
storing, transferring information, retrieving etc. which is elated to business
and other enterprises. This PPT discusses about classification of computers
with their application in the business. Further, it elaborates about importance

Classification Of Computers
Computers refers to the electronic machine which performs various
functions like operations, processes and calculation according to
instruction given by the hardware and software programs. Computers are
used in every organisation according to its requirements and need.

Supercomputers: This computer is very big in size and owns ability to
perform all the task at very high speed. Supercomputers are reserved to
perform few programs which directly enhances its capability of executing
work in very time.

Mainframe computers: Mainframe computers have ability to perform work of
thousands of users simultaneously. These computers are also expensive and large in
size.
Minicomputers: This type of computer owns multiprocessing systems which have
ability to support approximately 200 users at same time. Minicomputers are small in
size and are used in scientific research, engineering analysis, process controlling and
monitoring etc. but are ranked below as comparatively to super computers.

Microcomputers: Microcomputers are also termed as personal computers
which are designed for single user only. In this only one person can use it
at single time. These computers are small in size and used in every the size
of organisation.

Internet has became an essential part of every individual's life which helps them

internet have modified the working pattern of individual which helps in
