INTRODUCTION
Management is the planning, decision making, organizing, motivation, leading as well as
controlling the human resources and information resources of the company in order to reach out
the goals of company in effective manner. The present report is based on the Sainsbury which is
retail supermarket at UK. The report will discuss the management structure and business
functions. This will evaluate the marketing and management functions. Report will discuss HR
and talent management of company.

Management structure
An organizational structure is the system which are outlining the certain activities that
are directed for achieving goals and objectives of company in effective manner. On the other side
management is the act of getting things done through others as well as having them do it
willingly. That is very difficult art, not a science like the computer theories business and
manufacturing in effective manner. There are different types of management theories which are
help to maintain proper employees and solve their problems in effective manner. This creates
more effectiveness for business to maintain their process of work in order to achieve goals and
objectives of company (Heikkilä, Kaipia and Ojala, 2018). Explanations of those management
theories are as follows:
Max Weber's bureaucratic theory of management is believed which power educes
obedience through the face or the threat of force include individuals to adhere to
regulations. This include the different types of power like traditional, charismatic and
legal power of employees and employer. This have some features such as written by
documents, selection is based on technical expertise and this create formal and
impersonal relations within the Sainsbury. Relationship and transformational theories of management have their complete focus
on making positive connection between the leaders and followers. In this theory leaders
are motivated and motivate to another people who are working with them in effective
manner. This help to make proper relationship between employees and employer at
Sainsbury in effective manner.
