INTRODUCTION
Management assists to accomplish group goals and objectives to focus and accomplish
desired level of results with several elements. In this consideration, factors of production,
assembles and organise different resources that integrate in effective manner to accomplish
desired results. (Young and Ghoshal, 2016) It directs group efforts towards accomplishment of
pre-determined goals and objectives that can be helps to manage hotel functions and operations.
Managers perform several functions that ascertained and represent all work in a particular group
to develop interest and efforts to get self success at workplace. They are also acted for both sides
such as shareholders and employees. Furthermore, management in all the businesses consider
organisational activities to get people together and accomplish desired goals and objectives at
workplace (Wheelen, Hunger and Bamford, 2017). On the basis of available resources,
efficiently and effectively people perform functions to develop significant advantages.
In the present business Imperial hotel has been selected that face issue such as poor
leadership and management. As a result, it can be stated that the chosen business need to focus
on monitoring and controlling on several aspects through the chosen business can perform
several functions effectively. Head of department of the selected business often hostile in term of
defending own position that helps to promote more effectiveness at workplace. Furthermore,
good management activities must be performed so that positive results can be increases
(Banfield, Kay and Royles, 2018). Strong leadership and collaboration between different
departments also promote so that communication between different departments can be
increases. Many of the complaints from guest and customers is result of poor communication
between key functions that is distinct from supportive management.
MAIN BODY
In the Imperial hotel, there is poor leadership and management create major impact on
performances and effectiveness. In this regard, it can be stated that manager see that high level of
turnover create major impact on the performances. Consequently, guest satisfaction also reduce
in the business which is major issue in front of the enterprise (Robson, 2015.). With the help of
effective management practices, it can be stated that reviewing on monitoring and controlling
procedure successfully develop in hotel. Due to poor leadership and management, the chosen
business face several issues and it creates negative impact on the results. They are as follows:

Lack of direction: Poor leaders are characterised due to lack of ability to provide
appropriate direction. In this regard, it can be stated that lack of vision also create impact
on their understanding and reduce fulfilment of expectations of workers. It can be create
negative impact due to frustration and deliverables are not completely in line to
accomplish department needs (Young and Ghoshal, 2016). As a leader, it is essential
responsibility to provide clear instructions among team members that helps to contribute
to accomplish overall goals and objectives. In Imperial hotel, employees grow when
business moves forward. Therefore, it is essential to develop their expectations and
business performances as well. Lack of coordination and team work: Furthermore, in Imperial hotel there is lack of
coordination and team work because leaders not consider appropriate participation of all
members in the business. In this regard, it can be stated that leaders need to look upon top
management program that helps to staff members to shared responsibility (Sakae, Sato
and Kim, 2017). Effectively it is also linking to communicate properly between both
parties to achieve business goals.
Loss of morale: Team leader of the chosen hotel has also loss of morale so that it reduce
their work and performances to develop significant advantages. In this regard,
effectiveness will be continuously develop that assists to perform several functions at
workplace. In this consideration, it can be stated that regularly talking with employees in
Imperial hotel assists to focus on boost their spirits. These actions create benefits to
perform job effectively (Waugh, 2015).
According to the scientific management theory which given by Frederick Taylor to
improve efficiency and employees productivity. As a result, performances of Imperial hotel can
be successfully develop to focus on goals and objectives that can be successfully develop to treat
fairly and perform different consideration. Standard to perform several functioning also develop
successfully that helps to accomplish goals and objectives at workplace. Efficiency also perform
as per standard that can be successfully develop to gain desired results. There are several
principles must be followed in Imperial hotel to increase positive results such as time and motion
study which performed and find new ways to perform it. Furthermore, it considered teach, train
and develop workers performances with improved method to do work. Interest of employer and
