Restaurant and Fast food retail industry Fast food retail industry has many big players like McDonald, KFC, Burger King and Dominos. These companies earn billions of pounds every year and they can make a huge contribution in getting close to target i.e. Zero Hunger. These businesses are present across the globe; managing operation in vulnerable areas will not be difficult for them because they have experience of working at ground level.
Use of technology for achieving the goal of ‘’Zero Hunger’’ Fast food businesses have automated kitchens, they can make thousands of food items in single day and their data storage & analytics system is also very sound. These companies can open theiroutletsinthoseareaswherealargeproportionof population lies in Hunger Index. They should give free food to needy people without charging a single penny from them. They can set a limit per person or does not allow parcels to home if companies are concerned about effectiveness of the idea. Data of these people can be analyzed for making better plans for them as it is essential to provide sufficient nutrients to every person when need of every person differ.
Interconnection between Sustainable development goals If vulnerable population will get ample of nutrients then it will help in removing poverty as people will not have a fear of sleeping hunger. Health of poor people will improve and it can be considered as the first step in well being. This will also make an indirect contribution in improving economic growth of developing nations.

Justification for Choosing ‘’Zero Hunger’’ as the SDG It is not possible to attain any of the other SDGs if prevalence of hunger does not go down. This goal should be addressed on priority basis because people will die if they will not get food; and things like climate change, clean energy and sustainable cities will not matter at that time. Food is basic need of human being because humans cannot live without it. Zero hunger is most important goal among all.
Experience of working with others I enjoyed working in the group; I learnt many new things about making presentation and conducting research. One of the most important thing which I learnt during this time is to ‘’Agree to disagree’’ with others. If I will again get opportunity to work to work in group then I will definitely do it.
Conclusion From the above presentation, it can be concluded that Restaurant and fastfoodsectorhaspotentialtominimizeGlobalHungerand technology can play crucial role in attaining this target.
