Introduction:
The people management is a process of training and development , motivating and controlling
the workforce in the organisation so that goals and objectives can be achieved in the most
profitable manners. it can be examine ads set of activities that involves the talent optimisation,
retention while providing the support to the employees and employers of the organisation .
under this report , Easy jet , is a airline group , having the headquartered in the Hangar, London .
it was founded by the Stelios Haji in the 1995, it is operating in the more than 30 nation cross
the global. It has 100 routes for the domestic as well as for the international fights. Further there
will be discussion on the leadership and management, human resources department, training and
talent management in the organisation. (Wild 2017)
Human resources is very important in controlling the financial and talent acquisition of the
company. In the Easy jet, the HRM practice are includes all the function of organisation and
focus on achieving the mission and vision of the company. It also carry out the recruitment ,
selection process, training and development programs for the employees of the airlines company.
Recruitment is a process of identifying the most appreciate employee for the organisation so that
all the function can be performed in the effective manners. the company follow the equality act
in the selection process so that skills and trained employees can be selected for the company.
Main body:
Human management is a process where managing, controlling and administrating the business
operation of the organisation. here are various function which are performed by the HRM
divisions such as operative function, managerial and advisory function in the organisation . in
the context of the Easy jet, the organisation are able to hire skills employees so that they can
take the competitive advantage in the service sectors. The human resource management helps in
making the effective polices and strategies which helps in achieving the goals. The HRM helps
the organisation to have the effective group of people who will work for the organisation to
achieve the desire level of results in the proper ways and within the set time period.
1 Leadership and management:
The leadership and management refers to the process where employees are managed and
directed to competed the task and activists in the most effective manners. leadership is a making

the workforce to believe in the vision of the organisation and guide them to how to perform the
activities’ so achieve the objective sin the most profitable manners. whereas the management
refers to manage the employees in proper way so that day to day activities can be finished into
effective ways. the manager of the Easy jet uses different type of leadership style to motivate ,
direct and manage its employees in the effective manners. (Wilton, 2016)
Leadership and management theories:
There are various type of leadership theories and management in the organisation like
behavioural theory, contingency and scientific theory, systematic theory which helps in
achieving the desire level of outcomes. these leadership theories are used by the leader to
motivates the employees to improve their outcomes in the effective ways and achieve the desire
level of the results in the profitable ways. the management of the organisation needs to be in
proper way so that all the task can be competed in the most effective ways.
Situational leadership theory: according to this theory, the leader of the organisation adopts to
different type of leadership as per the situation in the management level. In the context of the
Easy jet, the organisation uses this leadership and management theory to provide guidance its
employees so that they are motivated to work at their full potential and accomplished the desire
objectives in the most profitable manners. this theory helps in understanding the nature and
complexity of situation and according train their employees to execute the task in the
management level to competed the tasks in effective manners. here the leader changes its
leadership style according to the needs and wants of the organisation
Contingency theory of management: according to this theory, the leadership style of the
leader depends on leader whether he is task oriented person or the relationship oriented. In the
Easy jet, the leadership helps them to increase their productivity in the operational activities
and achieve the goals. The management also focus on maintain the positive relationship
among the employees and employers. (Stark,, 2015)

It is recommended to the Easy jet, to have effective management in the work place, it can use
the various type of leadership and management theories such as transformational, behavioural ,
traits which helps them to manage and lead the team members so that goals can be achieved in
the most profitable manners. by using these leadership theories the organisation are able to

2:Training and development:
It is the most essential part of any organisation training and development helps in improving the
skills and capabilities which help them to execute the task in the most productivity manners. in
the context of the Easy jet, the organisation have various training programs which help the
employees to learn the new skills and knowledge . Learning and development programs helps the
worker to unlearn the old methods and acquire the new advance technology which helps them to
compete the task in the most productivity manners .the organisation can use the online learning
programs where the employees can earn the skills which can improve their performances in the
team and this also help the employees to builds the strong career in the organisation. the
manager and leader keep on giving the feedback to the employees about their work so that they
can improve their inputs in the given task and achieve the desire outcomes. the manager has to
guide the employees to make the best use of thesis training and development schemes so that
this will help the employees to have a good growth in their respective career plans. (Malik,and
Rowley, 2015)
Theory of training and development::
In the organisation, there are different type of theories of training which are to be followed in
the management to achieve the objective within the set time period. these training concepts helps
the organisation to execute the task in prefect manners. the training and development helps the
employee to acquire the new skills which will lead to better results of the organisation in the
long period of time.
Theory of Reinforcement:
As per this concepts, it will assess the learning behaviour of the employee at the work related
places. This theory asks that training and development programs must to related with the mission
and vision of the organisation so that employee are aware about the ultimate goals of the
organisation and work in align of these goals . there are various things like technology in the
human resource management which can be connected with the training and development
programs which helps them to achieve the goals in prefect manners. they are provide the
certificate programs within the training course and give rewards in the form of bonus, increase
in the salary, promotion in the management so that employee will give better inputs in these

the set time period. these programs can be conducted though the mode of online classes, on the
job training and off the job training and various another programs so that they can enhance their
capabilities and perform better in the organisation. (Glover and Branine, 2017

Talent management refers to the process where employee are hire and trained and retained in the
organisation so that objectives can be accomplished in the most prefect manners. in the another
words, it can be stated that organisation need talent management which will help them to
analysis the need of workforce in the company and select the most qualified employees and also
provide them effective training so that employee can learn various advance techniques to
execute the work in better ways. in the context of Easy jet, the management focus on hiring the
talented employees by the recruitment and selection programs and make them go though the
various learning programs which helps to improve their knowledge and give the better inputs in
team . by having the performances management activity, the organisation are able to measure
the employees execution in the work and give them rewards for their best inputs in the team
work. These rewards make employees feels motivated at the organisation and stay focus on
achieving the common objectives.
Theoretical model of talent management:
In the Easy jet organisation, the talent management helps in achieving the vision with the help of
skilled and knowledge worker to make the organisation successful in the market places. There
are different variety of aspect of talent management such as strategic employees , learning and
development programs, motivation and career enhancements. Talent management helps the
organisation to hire the employees and providing them effective training and retain them for
the longer period of time so that gaols can be accomplished in profitable ways. the organisation
also tries to provide the rewards to its employees for their better performers in the team and
these rewards can be in the form of monetary as well as nonmonetary. The organisation also

to its employees to learn effective skills which will help them to execute the work in the most
productivity manners. the talent management involves various things starting from the
recruitment and selection process till retaining them in the company by providing them the safe
and secure work places and offers various development programs which helps them to perform
better in the work environment. (Diedrich, and Guzman,2015)

According to the above discussion, it can be conclude that organisation need to manage its
employee and workforce in the effective manners so that they are able to achieve the goals and
objectives in the most profitable ways. human resources management needs to balance the need
of employees in the organisation by hiring them by different recruitment methods and give them
effective training which helps them to achieve the desire outcome .. the leader and manager
needs have effective leadership style which motivates the employees to perform better in the
team and achieve the goals and objectives in the most proper manners. the leader with the good
leadership style helps the employees to perform better in the team and focus on achieving the
