INTRODUCTION

People management is the vital point in every organization .It is define as a
group of practices that the included that the various process of talent optimization, talent
retention and talent acquisition with the offering continued guidance for the
organization’s employees and support for the whole business. People management in
the organizations is a major Part of human resource management because it includes
people behave, work, attitude towards the company’s operations, engagement in the
work and success at work. The effective people management in the organization affects
whole working operations of company. People management includes various areas
such as recruitment management, leadership and management, training and
development, Talent management etc. Easy Jet is a large British airline group and it’s
headquartered at United Kingdom. This report will include the operational context of
these areas in the organization. This report will also include the applicable relevant
theoretical models of these areas. This report will also highlight the essential skills,
behavior and knowledge required by the management to maintain these all areas.

1) Operational context of the Easy Jet organization
Leadership plays an important role in the easy jet company and it included motivates
employees, guide employees related to work process. Leadership is the essential part
of every organization. Leadership is a great procedure by which a leader can guide,
influence and direct the work and behavior of the employees of Easy Jet organization
towards the achievement of specifics goals and success. Perfect leadership and
management in the organization ensure that the company is on the right path. It also
encourages employees of the Easy Jet organization to conduct their operational and
function activity it very efficient way (Armstrong and Taylor. 2020). The executives of the
Easy Jet organization implement appropriate guidelines in their work platform to build
best leadership and management.
Effective management assists in accomplishing company’s goals. It maintains all

the elements of production, organizes and assembles the resources, operates the
resources in a very efficient manner to achieve goals. It helps the organizations to
monitor and control its whole operations and activities.
2) Theoretical models of Leadership and management
a. Contingency theory- The contingency theory identify that the style or attitude of a
leader is perfectly suited for the present situation. It is also determine that according
to different different situations the different leadership style is required. Contingency
theory focus on that the perfect leadership is a mixture of many variables
(Hurmelinna-Laukkanen and Olander., 2019).
b. Behavioral theory – This theory has a mainly focus on the specific actions and
behaviors of leaders. It says that an effective leadership comes out from the great
learned skills. It included three major skills such as human, technical and conceptual
skills. All these play an integral role to improve leadership and management in the
East Jet organization.
3. Transformational theory – Transformational theory may apply in the all level of the
organization such as departments, divisions, teams etc. This theory has mainly focus is
too adept the changes according to the situation. In this theory, leaders and managers
are inspiring, risk takers, daring, thoughtful thinker and visionary. Transformational
leaders take necessary actions to transform the situation (Khan and Milner. 2020).
These theories motivate the employees of Easy Jet towards the positive thoughts and
development and also encourage the employees of self motivatiopon for controlling and
accept changes.
3) Recommendations on the needed skills, knowledge and behavior by
management for effective leadership and management
For the effective and efficient leadership and management in the
Easy Jet, organization must have to follow leadership and management
guidelines and rules. Employees of the company should have to take
essential actions to build their correct mind-set towards the originations
goals and objectives. Executive of the Easy Jet organization should have
