PMBoK has three
process groups as
initiation, planning,
execution, control, and
closure. The ten
knowledge areas in the
project are then applied
in these five process
groups for the
management of the
project tasks and
activities.
There may be various risks that may come up in the projects. The management
methodologies have the guidelines for the handling and management of these
risks. The risk management process may include risk identification, analysis,
evaluation, treatment, monitoring, and closure.
Project success can be
measured and assured
by its ability to achieve
the objectives in
defined estimations.
There are key success
factors that are present
that are evaluated to
understand the project
success.
The success of the project depends upon criteria as project objectives,
resources, risks, approach, decision-making activities, conflicts, disputes, and
many more. These factors are evaluated and gap analysis is done to identify the
ability of the project team members to achieve the project objectives and goals.
