Introduction to the topic
This research report is based on a research study on the area of wireless networks and
communication. As the subject is vast and there are so many useful topics to study, hence the
topic of ‘5G wireless networks’ has been chosen for writing this report. In general, 5G i.e.
fifth-generation wireless is the technology that is the newest iteration of mobile technology.
In this context, 5G wireless network is typically engineered for considerably increasing the
responsiveness and speed of mobile networks. This topic is worth studying and researching as
well because complex network requirements can only be fulfilled with 5G network only. For
instance, a self-driving car will require a network slice that provides fast, and low latency
connections so that the vehicle is able to navigate in real-time. In this way, two research
papers have been chosen which are written by 1 and 2. Both the paper are detailing about this
next-generation mobile network technology while covering its several aspects and challenges
of the same.
Introduction to the chosen papers
There are two research papers chosen for writing this report which is mainly containing key
details of next-generation 5G networks.
The paper written by 2, is all about a survey on 5G. The authors of this article have
highlighted the 5G mobile network as the next generation of wireless cellular
communications. Moreover, the paper has talked about 5G with the introduction of 3Ds
which are data, device, and data transfer rate. In this way, this research is containing the
details about what will be done with 5G wireless network as well as how the wireless
network will execute it.
On the other hand, another paper written by 1, is all about conducting a comprehensive
survey on the topic of a 5G mobile network as the next-generation wireless network. In this
research paper, a vision of the next-generation cellular communication has been provided
with extremely high data rates in Gbps. The research study has presented a comparison
among 4G LTE networks and 5G wireless networks.
