Its also illustrates the ways the company has implemented its new management plan to
overcome these issues. The types of risks the company might have to face and the methods of
resolving them are also demonstrated here.
The Change Management Plan and Organisational Culture
Atlantis Global Corporation is a multinational company that excels in the
manufacturing and marketing of electronic circuit boards that are used in TV screens. The
designing centres are situated in the US, but the production is carried out by its subsidiaries.
The company has been facing a lot of challenges in recent years. This includes the low zeal of
the employees towards their work; the employees are losing respect for their colleagues and
so on.
The company has therefore decided to bring a change in its management plan which
would resolve the issues faced by them. The most critical difference brought by the
management of AGC is to increase the retention capacity of the employees who are highly
skilled and efficient, involve new talent in their organisation to promote its growth as well
felicitating the employees with financial incentives which would boost their morale and
would be encouraged to work more (Nagle, 2015).
Better career opportunities will also be provided with constant training support from
time to time. This would increase their efficiency and are likely to get monetary benefits.
Also, it has been planned to make different people work from various departments which
would develop a feeling of unity and shared vision towards the desired goal. The company
also promises to pay the incentives every quarter if their employees continue to work with the
same vigour (Mohammad Arabzad an, 2012).
The company has also decided to launch a Cross training session for its employees.
This training will focus on reducing the costs which is used in training new individuals as the
old employees will undergo these training while rendering their current roles and
responsibilities. Thus, if an employee leaves the job, the existing ones can take over his role
as there are already gained good experience.

After the implementation of the plan, various positive results were seen such as an increase in
the production and efficiency of the employees (Moffat, 2017).
Risks of Potential threats
AGC is excelling on a global platform. Unlike any other organisation, the company is
also facing some potential threats on internal and external levels. The company might have to
face the following risks in its business environment (Vaněk, Mikoláš & Žváková, 2012).
1. Tough Competition with competitors – As there is a lot of disturbance and
misunderstanding between the employees, the company somewhere lacks the strength
of unity, which can be utilised to beat its competitors. Also, as the quality of the
product is degrading, the company might lose its valuable customers. This would lead
to a decrease in sales and profits.
2. The company will also have to face the implementation of new policies set by the
government which will disturb the internal functioning of the company. There are
various communication issues prominent in the company which is degrading the
structure.
3. The training of the employees is not upgraded due to which they are not aware of the
latest technologies emerging in the market.
Ways to detect threats
The company’s intent is always to establish, grow and excel in every domain. But,
while the company is in such phases, it has to face positive and negative issues arising in its
way. It is the responsibility of the management to overcome the company from these issues
and to ensure a highly skilled driving force. These challenges affect the work process of any
company and leave a significant impact on its sustainability. The company faces hurdles such
as a decrease in sales, low quality of the product, marginal profits, low zeal employees,

internal conflicts, etc. the company might also have to face issues pertaining to changing
government rules and regulations, changes in the tastes of its customers etc. the company
needs to fix these issues as early as possible. The company can evaluate its threats by
undergoing a SWOT analysis. This assesses S- strength, W- weaknesses, O- opportunities
and T- threats.
As evaluated by AGC, the strengths of the company are its expertise, knowledge of
the product, and the brand image they have built in so many years. The weaknesses include
lack of technologies, shortage of finances, the scope of the products in the market and
reduced supply chain. Threats are prone to arise if there are changes made at the
organizational level, changing in the type of materials used for the product, implementing of
new government policies, emerging competitors etc. (Li & Ferreira, 2010).
Methods to protect the organisation from threats
Atlantis Global Corporation is on a turning point. It requires the capacity to establish
itself in the market by overcoming the internal and external threats that arise from time to
time. The company has taken the following steps to protect itself from the external and
internal threats: -
1. Regular Evaluation of the employees – Be it any organization, it is essential to
monitor and assess your employees regularly. This improves the company's
performance. The regular evaluation may also highlight the steps which could be
wrong for the company but would have been hidden if ignored. The company can also
make its employees undergo training session and mock interviews if necessary.
2. Updating of technologies – AGC has planned to streamline its functioning by
opening doors to new technologies. This step would help the company enhance its
performance to a broader extent. This will also help the company to monitor the

challenges arising in the previous software and actions to improve it. The company
has also restricted the access of data by limited employees so that the confidentiality
of the company remains intact (Desmond, 2016).
3. New Code of Conduct- AGC has come up with a new code of conduct which aims at
achieving clarified goals, employee feedback, training sessions, working of
employees in unison etc. The company will make a global stature due to increased
productivity, a set of ethical rules and responsibilities.
