INTRODUCTION
Artificial Intelligence is the area of computer science which emphasise for creating
intelligent machines that work and react like humans. Artificial Intelligence is the ability of
digital computer or computer controlled robot in order to perform work or task related with
intelligent beings (Bond and Gasser, 2014). Artificial intelligence is also know as machine
intelligence, it is a technology to make computer, software or computer controlled robot who
think intelligently and smartly like a human beings. Along with this, it is the machines which are
designed and programmed in such manner where they act and think like an individual. The report
theme is “Is Artificial Intelligence a threat or an aid to the future of humanity” and also analyse
its positive and negative terms in better manner.
MAIN BODY
Artificial intelligence is a not threat for the humans and it will help future of humanity.
Artificial intelligence works where mind and physique of human being feel tired and consist of
huge risk but slowly or gradually it create hazardous results for them to occupy humans
opportunities. But sometime this will be helpful in protecting humans from dangerous things in
proper manner. AI mainly focus on short term threats which are posed by their expansion such as
job losses (The Rise of Artificial Intelligence and the Threat to our Human Rights. 2019). It can
be analysed that there are around 50% of all jobs are now susceptible to automation that includes
traditionally safe profession such as law, accountancy and medicine.
Supporters of AI think that it can help as work faster; Artificial intelligence is also know
as machine intelligence, it is a technology to make computer, software or computer controlled
robot who think intelligently and smartly like a human beings. There are various people who are
in favour of artificial intelligence and think that it will help them in conducting work in faster
ways because through it a person can predict situation in advance and make decision
accordingly. The main advantage of this is to process huge amount of data and investigating
records immediately which are great and obvious. Artificial intelligence is helpful in performing
fast work in order to reach with set organisation goals and targets. AI assist in enhancing
productivity level for business operations and its functions in better manner. It will make it
possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and also perform task as a
human. With the help of this technology, computers can be trained and experienced in order to

accomplished specific tasks by processing huge amount of data and identifying patterns of data.
Along with this, it is the service which has picked up its fastest pace and provide required
facilities to fulfil their daily task or work in faster manner (Brodie, Mylopoulos and Schmidt,
2012). Artificial intelligence powered digital solutions which are prepared to improve each
aspect of the business which includes customer experience, loyalty, brand goodwill and
generation of income streams. There are various businesses which use Artificial Intelligence and
related technology to reveal new insights. Artificial Intelligence involves computers,
technologies and various methods that can perform work in faster manner and reduces the work
burden on an individual. In this, computers help in easily calculate all complex factors and
numerical terms in limited time period. It is save time by fast manipulation of data as compared
when done manually. This will eliminate the errors in data processing by human for performing
work. On the other hand, various advanced technologies assist in improving company efficiency
and reduces human errors for developing automated processes. Latest technology includes robots
who are new innovation and it is work in various sector such as hotels, hospitals and so more.
Most of the robots are used for doing repetitive actions and that job which is considered as
dangerous for humans (Cohen and Feigenbaum, 2014). It is performing work in fast as compared
to human being so large number of companies are adopt this technology for higher productivity.
AI is a threat to the future of humanity because if people use it so much, there will be a
time when robots will replace humans; AI is beneficial for human being is contradictory because
some experts believe that it is beneficial for mankind and other believes that it is fearful that it
might destroy humankind in future. Autonomous weapons or tools work as a killer robot that
work and takes decisions regarding destructive actions without human interference. These killer
robots are more efficient in comparison to human being and it is a brain model. Hence most
university researchers take decisions to destroy these robots which previously built for military
purpose. It is destructive for society because it increase rely or dependency for their efficiency
for their contribution in hard and risky work which is not accessible for human being. It
eradicate their contribution in economy because it is consider that it saves cost and give
effective results. It is well known fiction also an fact that AI destroy jobs. Masses give their best
to economy with help of technology and advancement that give efficiency in their work. But the
people are now more depend on artificial intelligence and they replace human beings and create
unemployment (Michalski, Carbonell and Mitchell, 2013). In contributes in mundane work and

activities such as emails and entry of data that are done by Artificial assistance in efficient
manner. On other hand it creates problems of privacy problems and hack data and resources and
grab personal information of people which is disaster for human kind. Its major drawback is that
it incurs huge cost that everyone not afford, smart and advance technologies are are expensive
and requires a lot of maintenance and repair which create hurdle. It creates human existence
hazardous regarding privacy of data and information that is an important attribute in human kind.
Technology is not as efficient that give all benefits and it is lack in provide transparency that are
major destructive cause of artificial intelligence. While using advance technology it creates more
dependency and reliance on these technologies and resulted that human losses its control and
does not take decisions about strategy. It takes place of humans and seize all job opportunities
for them and organisation have to train employees to adopt them (Nilsson, 2014). Hence after
observing all important concerns it is concluded that AI is threat for mankind.
The computers and robots can do many jobs; In current time period, most of the work are
performed with the help of computers and robots. It is used for control large and small machines
that are controlled by humans. Computers are considered as save money and it is the idea of
being able to replace human with computer and robot is enticing. A robot can performed work
for 24/7 with little to no pay or benefits and it is faster than human with fewer errors. Robots can
be useful for employees as they can easily perform their job which are repetitive, dangerous and
leave the interesting jobs to the humans. There are various sector in which computers can be
used such as marketing, manufacturing and distributing. It will assist business in collecting,
managing and arranging the customer data and information in better manner. It is the technique
which can be used for managing small organisation and every sector are manage resources and
gaining opportunities. Computers is used around in most of the private, government and home
based business and organisation. Every business use computers to complete regular work or task
in effective manner. There are various role played by computers in business organisation such as
storage, accounting, marketing, documentation and research. On the other hand, robots are play
an important role in current time period within the business that reduces burden of human being.
Technology develop robotics less expensive and it will assist in enhancing productivity of the
company. Today, robots are used in offices, hospitals and schools for effectively performed their
job in order to enhance goodwill (Russell and Norvig, 2016). Sometime, they are employed for
jobs which are too dirty, dangerous and dull to be suitable for humans. Robots are mainly used

for manufacturing, packaging and assembling of producing goods and services in better manner.
In addition to this, robots and computers are seen tremendous leaps in their performance and
capabilities and it has been replaced various human jobs. Robots are performed various jobs
which are assist in reducing work pressure over human being. Robots are human like machine
which are capable for doing work or tasks that are programmed to do. They are mainly used in
manufacturing industry where they are packaging and processing products in proper way.
Some statistics show that AI move people from their jobs and there is tendency to
continue to develop; It is seen that Artificial Intelligence directly affect on people jobs through
which they move from one place to another in searching of new jobs. Highly skilled people may
face job loss due to advancement of robots and Artificial Intelligence in the specific country. Job
statistics is not good in United Kingdom. It is only for people enter in labour force but also for
existing people in the force (Steels and Brooks, 2018). Most of the people leave their job due to
impact of Artificial Intelligence on employment and this will create fear among employees. The
main reason behind job loss is most of the organisation adopt robots and Artificial Intelligence
technique for smoothly running their business operations and its functions. There are various
technologies and techniques are adopted by organisation due to this work of an individual are
reduced and their demand in company is lower. Artificial Intelligence has greatly impact the
people and organisation. Due to adoption of AI in different business by manager has made their
work easy, simple and quick. This leads increase of job employment in market. Many people
have lost their job because of AI and leads unemployed. It is mostly adopted by high profit
making companies because AI is very costly and cannot be adopted by every business. Thus, AI
has bring both positive as well as negative impact in organisation. AI largely destroy job
opportunities because organisation as well as individuals majorly rely on artificial intelligence to
get effective results but on other hand it seize job opportunities for them. Human being feel
tedious in lethargic works so it takes help of AI but it gradually takes large part of decision
making and strategic making and human being loss their control (Wenger, 2014). In some times
people understand that AI is very useful and automation will take 400 million and 800 million
jobs approximately by 2030. More reliance on advance technology create destructive results and
harmful for mankind. Artificial intelligence play an effective role in today's day to day working
but like every thing has its advantage and disadvantage, same artificial intelligence has some
limitation such as it leads to job loss of many employees, employees become lazy because half of

work are done by machines, It also reduce the effectiveness and ability of employees. Due to
artificial intelligence employees heath are also getting affected.
It can be recommended that it us required for company is to manage and operate their
business in better manner with the help of new technologies and methods. It can be seen that
large number of organisation adopt robots and make use for gaining higher productivity and
profitability. With the use of robots, there is loss in number of jobs and they replaced the human
position.
CONCLUSION
As per the above described report, it can be analysed that artificial intelligence is also a
machine intelligence, it is a technology to make computer, software or computer controlled robot
who think intelligently and smartly like an individual. There are various businesses which use
Artificial Intelligence and related technology to reveal new insights. It is performing work in fast
as compared to human being so large number of companies are adopt this technology for higher
productivity.
