INTRODUCTION
• Business environment is consist of events and condition that have
a greater impact on company and it functions.
• It consist of two factors like external and internal market area
which positively and negatively impact on business growth.
• The presentation is based on JD sports which deals with selling of
sports equipment's and wear.
• The presentation will discuss SWOT and PESTLE analysis in
order to identify threats and opportunity for the business

PESTLE
• Political: This factor is consist of rules and regulation made by
the government and it can impact on the operation of the
business.
• Along with this, it play important role in developing effective
strategies so that organization can earn good profitability.
• Economic: It mainly includes economic performance , labour
rate, tax and interest rate. However, it is the duty of the company
to analyse the market area if company operates in country with
good economic rate than it will be able to earn good profit
because people will have stable income.
• Social: This factor is consist of cultural trends, demographic,
customer behaviour and geographic location.
• JD sports has to follow this factor in order to keep their
customer satisfied and to maintain their loyal towards brands.

• Technological: It is one of the most effective factor that helps organization
in gaining the market share and to improve the overall growth of the
company. Along with this, use of technology can create both positive and
negative environment.
• Legal: This factor is quite similar to political factor as government make
rules and regulation for the country. Company has to follow this factor in
order to avoid government and N Go's intervention as well as to be safe
from legal suits.
• Environmental: It is also one of the crucial factor which helps the
company in gaining the attention of customer. Along with this, consumer
nowadays check how much contribution company is giving towards
development of society and invest on that basis.

SWOT ANALYSIS
• Strength:
• This is known as factor which helps the company in increasing the
overall growth and act as positive factor in improving the performance
of organization.
• The company has good brand image and it has faithful customer based
which has helped in increasing the overall growth rate.
• Weakness: One of the major weakness of the company is improper
finance and due to that organization was not able to expand its business
area or introduce new products.
• Lack of finance need to be improved by the company in order to
enhance the overall growth.

TO BE COUNTINUE…
• Opportunity: One of the greatest opportunity for the company is to
expand in market area in order to increases its growth rate.
• It can collaborate with big sports company as it will increase the brand
awareness and people will buy products easily.
• Threats: One of the major threat is pandemic and due to that
company was closed for several months and there was restriction on
trade which has lower down the productivity of company.
• Along with this, due to COVID taste and preferences of the customer
has been changed as they are only investing in essential products and
services.

RECOMMENDATION
• It is to be recommended to JD sport after analysing external and internal
market area for success of the company there is need to make use of
affiliated marketing.
• As it will allow the organization to collaborate with large or small firms
digitally and it is one of the best ways to enhance the growth rate.
• Moreover, it is to be suggested that for dealing with the weakness of finance
JD sports can adopt better source of finance such as bank loans , angle
investor and crowd funding.
• It is to be recommended to JD sports that it should improve the work culture
of their company by giving their employees proper training so that it can feel
more connected to organization.

CONCLUSION
• From the presentation it can be concluded that before planning strategy for the company it is necessary
to analysis the market area so that threats and opportunity can be analysed.
• Along with this, it can be concluded from PESTLE analysis that some factors like political and legal
directly and indirectly impact on the performance of company.
