In today’s competitive business world, job attitude and job satisfaction
plays an important role in controlling the functional operations of the
company. Job attitude is considered as the set of evaluations of one’s job
that also relates with the feeling towards managing the overall work with
dedication. Job attitude can also be said as the behaviour of the individual
towards the particular job role. If workers have positive job attitude
towards work, then it would be easy for them accomplish the objectives
given by the management. On the other hand, Job satisfaction is the
concept that focuses on the feeling of self-motivation towards job. The
workers can only be satisfied with their job when they are having job
stability, career growth and also proper work life balance (Hanaysha &
Tahir, 2016).
In this essay, job attitude and job satisfaction concepts linked with
organization will be discussed. These are considered as important
concepts that assist the companies in boosting the performance and also
it assist the employees to be more efficient and dedicated towards the
work given to them. In the essay, the first section will described about job
attitude which is the first concept, the second section will describe about
job satisfaction which is the second concept. After discussing both the
concepts, the link will be made in relation to both these concepts.
Job Attitude
It is examined that job attitude relates with the performance of the
individual and it is the function concerned with ability, motivation and
opportunity to act. Individual attributes are also linked with the factors
such as values, ethics, attitudes, emotions and perception. The attitude is
considered as a predisposition approach to give response in a positive or
in a negative manner. It is evaluated that there are 3 main essential
factors linked with attitudes such as beliefs, feelings and behavioural
intentions. These entire factors lead to the behaviour of an individual
towards a particular job role or work (Inuwa & Abubakar, 2017).

The attitude behaviour link is concerned with cognitive dissonance
related with discomfort from the perceived inconsistency among the
expressed attitude and also actual behaviour. There are also many
individuals who are motivated to solve the inconsistency by bringing
change in the underlying behaviour and also it focuses on the change in
the future behaviour. It can be said that job attitude towards work is the
behaviour of an individual which they showcase at the time of doing the
assigned job (Kim, Im & Hwang, 2015).
For example: There are many employees who respond aggressively at
the time of discussion with other employee but on the same hand there
are also many employees who respond with patience and calmness. These
factors showcase the attitude of one person towards the specified job role.
The way he or she behaves is directly linked with what they think about
work.
Perceived organizational support relates with the degree to the workers
in relation to company who values their contribution and also emphasizes
on their well-being. If the employee has the feeling that they are given
value at the workplace, then they will be having positive attitude towards
their job which positively impact success of the business in the market.
Job attitude of the employees can also be changed when they are
appreciated or rewarded at the workplace for their work or contribution
(Lee, 2017).
