INTRODUCTION
Ethical practices is considered as a process in which it helps in generating trust by using
role model in relation to ethical behavior by adopting values for taking decision in appropriate
way. Ethical practices considered as a significant for business organization that help in earning
more and more profit. This report is carried upon the Johnson and Johnson. It is considered as an
American International Company given in the year of 1886 (Wu, 2017). They focus on
improving medical devices as well as different types of consumer packaged product. Therefore,
this report is depending upon the case study named as Johnson and Johnson. For gaining
knowledge as well as information which is needed to assess the ethical issues as well as role of
Organization in society and its improvement, stakeholders get affected from unethical practices.
In this assignment, there is also example which is taken for bad as well as good ethics.
Furthermore, it involves theories as well as practices that help in dealing with different ethical
practices in an appropriate way. At last, it involves ethical leadership administration and
reflective essay to display understanding. Ethical practices are considered as a much more
significant for business organization because it provides contribution to maintain appropriate
image at Marketplace. The organization focuses on adopting ethical practices that is considered
as a symbol of prosperity as well as consumer welfare (Hintz and Dean, 2020).

1. Ethical issue or issues: Ethical issues are a type of problem which is required by an
individual person or business organization to select superior alternative that is considered
as a wrong or right. According to the case history, the ethical issue which imposes directs
impact on the business organization and its value in overall globe. It is assessing that
business organization are liable for influence on goods. Therefore, the judge of Oklahoma
provides guidance to the business organization to pay $572 m for reducing the influence
of Opioid addiction crisis. Hence, it is a source that is considered as a much more
dangerous for health of individual person and they get addicted. It is the responsibility of
organization to compensate the individual person in order to reduce the impact of this
disease. It is considered as a worst drug epidemic in the history of US. Therefore, it is

necessary for business organization to build their goods that is considered safe as well as
secure for every individual person and not harmful for their health. For business
organization, it is very potential to assess different factors that impose direct impact on
the performance of business organization as well as loyalty of its user.
2. Role of business in society: Every business organization focuses on producing or
manufacturing product as well as services for satisfying the need of customer. Therefore, they
manufacture the goods as well services that is buying by its user and also the organization
manufacture the product that are eco- friendly to the environment. They also focus on producing
that kind of product which reduces the problem of society. On the other hand, the organization do
not focuses on producing the product which is environmental friendly then it imposes direct
impact on the society in term of child labor, governmental pollution as well as Habitat destruction
and also considered as a harmful for the health of individual person of society (Gehner and
Oughton, 2016). According to the research, it is the responsibility of business organization to
assess the impact of every type of social issue which imposes direct impact on individual person
as well as community. Therefore, in reference of Johnson and Johnson the judge ordered to pay
the $572 m for reducing the impact of opioid addiction crisis which is considered as a much more
dangerous in the US history. It has been analyzed that approx 1.7 million individual person suffer
the pain of opioid crisis. It is assessed that it is the story of Johnson and Johnson that is a single
business organization but business organization gain more and more profit depend upon higher
cost. It is analyzed that the crisis imposes direct impact on the sustainability of business
organization at market place. It reduces the loyalty or trust for the customer towards the product
as well as services which is provided by the company. Therefore, it is the responsibility of
organization to provide contribution towards society in order to increase brand image or
reputation of the company at market place.
3. Five Stakeholders: Stakeholders are considered as a significant who perform their
work in the self interest of business organization for achieving goals as well as objective
in targeted period of time. In reference of Johnson and Johnson, there are various
stakeholders such as trade association, employee’s, government, local communities as
well as customers. It has been analyzed that if the organization conduct their operations
which is directly linked to the unethical practices then it impose direct impact on the
