1 Introduction
Main objective of this project is to provide an opportunity to demonstrate the design
and configuration an IP MPLS network, with a virtual private network for the provided
scenario. The provided scenario is a Pacific Internet Solution. This company is a
multinational internet service provider and it offers wide range of internet services to the
customers. This company also provides layer 3 VPN and VPLS, to corporate with customers.
It recently delivers IPTV to its customers. It needs to incorporate the efficient delivery of
IPTV services. This company only supports the unicast. So, it needs to use the efficient IPTV
delivery method. This method is used to increase the IPTV subscribers over the next five
years.
Here, we prepare four types of network diagrams for corporating customers such as,
baseline layer 3 MPLS VPN network, layer 3 MPLS VPN network, Multicast MPLS network
and functional diagram of an IPTV network. Then, design and implement the Virtual Private
LAN Services (VPLS) to meet the requirements of the corporate customers. Finally, we will
redesign the network infrastructure for Pacific Internet Solutions. So, the user need to provide
the network design proposal, which meets the Pacific Internet Solutions for the consideration
and requirements.

A MPLS Virtual Private Network comprises of an arrangement of destinations that
are interconnected by methods, for a MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) provider core
network. At every client site, at least one CE (Client Edge) gadgets connects to at least one
PE (Provider Edge) gadgets (SearchNetworking, 2018). The offered MPLS-VPN availability
benefits are a great degree requested at little, medium, vast business endeavours and in the
budgetary organizations. This MPLS-VPN availability benefit gives expanded scope of
administrations. For example, security, nature of Service and any-to-any network, to meet the
necessities of our clients. Also, this MPLS-VPN availability benefit is accessible at ostensible
costs.

L3 MPLS VPN administrations enable the organizations to re-appropriate their present
network center, by utilizing a private IP-based administration offering from a specialist co-
op. Dissimilar to the current overlay networks like, MPLS VPNs necessitate that the
undertaking peer has with the SP at the IP L3 level. In this situation, the SP organize is
associated with the L3 steering of the IP parcels conveyed by the venture. This capacity is
executed through Virtual Routing/Forwarding (VRF) tables for every client, and MPLS
names to de-multiplex and to burrow client movement through the SP core. Since the SP
organizes take interest in the steering of client activity, every endeavour must infuse its
prefixes into the suitable VRF table in the SP arrangement. The SP is in-charge of
guaranteeing that these courses are circulated to the proper client VRF tables (Cisco, 2018).
