analysis for other IT companies and assets the decision makers, professionals and managers.
Efficient management of knowledge in an organization is a crucial factor for the growth and
success of the organization. Knowledge is considered to be one of the most important assets
for any company. Tech-world Australia highly focuses on the knowledge and gathered
information in order to ensure efficiency and productivity. Tech-world Australia highly
considers technology to be an important component of its knowledge management strategy.
The company support various systems; collaboration, structure and teams for manage
knowledge. The efficient utilization of knowledge and other resources of the company are
measured by developing a process and design to manage change in the organization.
Knowledge sharing is the culture of the company (Alegre, Sengupta and Lapiedra, 2013).
Tech World Australia utilizes various tools and practices including group interviews, focus
groups, knowledge surveys, questionnaires, observation and network analysis for discovering
and detecting knowledge in the organization. The process of identifying and evaluating the
knowledge assets in the organization are heavily supported by information technology. It
utilizes complex categorization and other retrieval mechanisms to successfully assess and
organize the knowledge assets in various forms. As mentioned above, knowledge sharing is
considered to be highly important by the company. Knowledge sharing plays an important
role for reusing the knowledge or creation of knowledge in the organization. Socialization
with informal networks is the culture of the company, in this process the information
technology plays a supporting role in the company (Holtshouse 2013) . The company is
highly involved in creating, assessing and actually implementing the existing knowledge.
