INTRODUCTION
In context of present highly competitive business environment, managing the workplace
has become one of the crucial staff. Due to globalisation many of the companies are facing issues
related to the diversity as well as networking which has significant as well as adverse effect on
their performance in international market. An effective communication as well as smooth flow
of information is considered to be as an effective strategy which can be applied by firms for
dealing with such kind of problems. In addition to this, effective internal as well as external
communication is very much essential for smooth functioning of business. It is very much
important for companies to have the formal procedure of communication, as it assist in
eliminating the conflicts as well as misunderstanding at workplace. Management in an enterprise
need to develop an effective policies and strategies for communicating with employees. A sit
will assist them in developing strong relationship with workers.
Report will have focus on identifying current changes issues faced by organisation. The
communication strategies will be designed for JKL industries. It is basically an Australian
owned company which sells spare parts, trucks and forklifts. Study will also highlight the role of
communication consultants.

2. Background of the organisation and current change issue faced by firm
JKL is basically an Australian based company. The products which are offered by firm
are spare parts, forklift and mini trucks. Business entity has its headquarter located in Sydney.
Goal of an organisation is to increase sales. Objective of business entity is to built as wwell as
maintain a positive culture within an organisation. Company has branches in different countries
such as Canbera, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane etc. after 12 years successful running of
business have developed its concentration of mini trucks as well as forklifts. An organisation
has facilitated negotiation with overseas suppliers in context of selling rage of mini trucks and
Forklift (Ahmad and Salam, 2018. ). Taking the sales rights has lead to the big changes in
organisational structure. During the time of change, management in JKL has faced the issues in
managing the information flow. At the time change there was issues of communication as well as

consultations which had further given rise to major problems at workplace. Few
communications as well as consultation issues includes :
Absence of overarching approach to information management.
Slow responses to the needs of internal as well as external stakeholders.
Ineffective communication has lead to the delay in execution of the ideas which also has
adverse effect on business performance of JKL.
Inadequate consultation has given rise to the risk to legal as well as ethical issues.
Inconsistent application by leaders or managers has lead to the increase in number of
grievance by internal stakeholders.
Due to lack of an effective communication, there has less engagement of employees in
the change procedure.
In addition to this, due to the lack of an effective communication and smooth flow of
information, has created the culture of chronic conflicts which has further negative effect
on the business performance of JKL.
In such situation role of communication consultant is to revise as well as make changes
in the communication system as well as strategies of firm. In addition to this, it is the duty of
communication consultant to suggest company an appropriate procedure for managing
communication as well as information flow within an enterprise (Mao and DeAndrea, 2018. ).
Role of communication consultant is to develop as well as write content for internal as well as
external media communication. It is the duty of consultant to formulate the strategies for
strengthening the communication procedure among employees working in JKL organisation.
3. Drafting Communication strategy for meeting business needs and goals
In Context of JKL, management in an organisation is taking high initiative for developing
the new business plan for bring positive changes in the selling structure by transforming the
complete organisational structure. Business entity has focus on increasing the retail sales of mini
trucks as well as forklifts. JKL in order to accomplish new business goals are required to
formulate an effective communication strategy. Management in an enterprise is required to align
