Company wants to expand business with a proposed strategic goal of increase inbusiness by 7.5 %. The company also aims to improve its distribution management with the useof technology like GPS and PDA. For the purpose of achievement of these goals the companyintends to incorporate change management policies.2. Change Management Report- Following is the change management report3. Organisational ObjectivesMajor objective of the organisation is to expand business in the metropolitan area by 7.5 % andto incorporate sophisticated technology. To attain these goals the company needs to improveemployee motivation level, enhance training and take measures to reduce injuries. Following arethe change requirements A, Automated lifting systems to minimise injuries B. Training of drivers regarding GPS and other new technologyC. Increase in employee engagement through incorporation of team meetings and feedbacksystem[ CITATION Agb15 \l 1033 ].The above change needs were identified after analysing the strategic goals and workforcebackground of the company. The company is facing lot of lifting injuries which hamperproductivity. Automated system will help in reducing injuries and enhancing productivity.It was also found that the drivers resist the GPS system due to ignorance and preconceivednotions. Therefore training should be given to the drivers about benefits of newtechnology[ CITATION Bri141 \l 1033 ]. This will increase productivity and efficiency leadingto growth in business. Employee engagement in the organisation was also found to be less. This2

can lead to demotivated workforce[ CITATION Ext13 \l 1033 ]. An overall atmosphere ofinteraction and discussion needs to be incorporated in the company to improve employeeengagement. This can be done through meetings and feedback systems. Additionally, trainingand development needs to be incorporated as a key ingredient of the human resource policy. Thiswill help in improving productivity and business for the company.4. Current IssuesCurrently the organisation suffers from the problem of injuries, lack of training and lack ofinteraction. The drivers are disgruntled about the GPS system and they have no interest fortraining and development. This can give rise to a demotivated workforce with no focus towardsindividual or company growth[ CITATION ABD09 \l 1033 ]. Therefore, in order to realise itsgoals the company needs to make changes in policies.5 Performances against objectives A.People-. No proper human resource function or training. This leads to low efficiency whichcan hamper strategic goals.B. Processes- Drivers do not have much faith in technology. This can lead to poor performance.C. Technology- Trucks are fitted with GPS and PDA systems; however, drivers resent thesystem due to lack of awareness. D, Structure- There is no proper human resource function which leads to lack of training anddevelopment and employee engagement. This in turn impacts performance and objectiveachievement.6 External trendsA. Two external trends in distribution management industryAutomation in aspects like warehousing, delivery recording, lifting etc.Growing use of Ecommerce in terms of delivery tracking and final delivery[ CITATIONChr16 \l 1033 ].3
