Without effective leadership at all levels, an organization can never attain its purpose of being. Leaders help in bringing the necessary changes. They are the role models. They set a clear direction for everyone to follow. Leaders set example for others. An organization cannot achieve its targets withouthavingeffectivetargets(Rihal,2017).Leaderspossessteambuildingand communication skills. They are empathic and help employees to reach their goals. They nurture them and help them to grow. A leader gets work done through his followers. He is skilled in motivating and equipping people to attain results that benefit all. A leader is the one who leads. He is confident, self-motivated and charismatic. He drives his followers to attain shared goals. A leader not only leads, but he also controls, monitors, plans and manages tasks(Bhasin, 2014).He monitors to see if everything is going in order. He ensures that there are no conflicts and problems among followers that are hindering them from achieving their objectives. A leader makes sure that everything is planned and being done according to the plan. Leaders reward and appreciated his followers on the attainment of goals.
