INTRODUCTION
The report is concentrating on the mergers in the two companies which would result
in the change in the organisation. The leadership is affected due to the change in the
organisation. These companies which are doing the mergers and the acquisition is the retail
company. It is providing the services and the products in the retail sector (Sligo, Gauld
Roberts and Villa 2017). The report includes the types of the changes which would be taking
place in the company and it includes the soft factors and the challenges faced by the
company. It includes the potential individuals and the reactions on the mergers in the
company. The report includes the potential and the cultural barriers which are affecting the
change programme. The company is also using the strategies and the models form
overcoming these problems and the approaches which are affecting the performance of the
company.
TASK 1
Critically analyse the type of the changes that the organization will go through
The soft factors include the factors which are affecting the company performance.
These factors include the people, organisation systems, work methods and the management
styles which are affecting the company performance. The employees would need the
motivation from time to time. It includes the human behaviour because the people need the
motivation of working in the company.
People
People are the employees which are working in the organisation. The employees
which are working in the organisation would include the employees and the employers which
re working in the company. The motivation must be given to the employees which would be
working in the organisation. Wages and the salaries which re given to the employees which
would motivate the employees and incentives are given to there employees which would be
paid to the employees for the performance (Anderson and Sun 2017).
Organisation and systems
The well-known principle of the organisation would improve the performance of the
employees. The rules and the policies which are set in the company would benefit of the
employees. Some organisation would not give the power to the employees of the decision-
making while some conies give the repower to the employees of the decision-making. There
are various factors which would affect the work of the employees.
Work methods
The work methods include the working methods which will improve the performance
of the employees which re working in the company. The working methods of the company
would affect the productivity of the employees and the company. The employees must be
trained for using theomachies and the tools which would be used in the company. Training is
essential tolls of improving the work methods which would include the performance.
Management styles

Management styles of the company would change the behaviour of the employees
which are working in the company. The management styles would change the productivity
and the company would mange the resources as well. The polices and the regulations would
affect the company performance. The management would increase the performance and the
organisational design would affect the productivity and the performance of the company. The
capital and the business would be used in the effective manager which would handle the
capital and the cost of the products (Sarala Vaara and Junni 2017).
The company would undergo the organizational change which would include the
following organisation changes.
Organisational wide change
These changes is affecting the company and the performance of the company. It
includes the restructuring and the new policies which would be adopted by the company. The
single employees is affected because the whole organisation is affected. Leaders of the team
must identify the changes and be prepared for the changes which would be taking place in the
organisation.
Transformational change
It includes the transformational change which is affecting the company performance
and the company is suffering due to the changes. It is targeting the company strategies and
the culture as well. The impacts of the se would be seen on the progress of the company
(Myers 2019). The cultural trends, business environment and the technological changes are
affecting the company performance.
Personnel change
Personal change includes the employees which are affected due to the change in the
organisation. It is affecting the employee’s morale and the engagement of the employees. The
employees would be losing the confidence in them if they are not provided with the proper
guidance. The threats of the layoffs are affecting the employee’s performance and the
performance of the company as well (World Health Organization, 2016).
Unplanned change
The unplanned change includes the actions and the vents which are occurred
unplanned. The actions and the events are affecting the employee’s performance. Companies
are facing these situations due to the government regulations and the natural calamities which
are affecting the business.
Remedial change
Leaders are changing the organisational in the effective way. Like the leaders need to
identify the remedies for the weakness of the employees and the leaders would try to
overcome the issues faced by the employees in the company. The training provided to the
employees would affect the performance of the employees and the se is the remedy for the
employees which are working in the organisation. These are the problems which are faced by
the company. The strategies which are used by the company is the remedy for the changes
which are sued in the organisation for improving the performance (Wandersman, and et.al.,
2016).
