INTRODUCTION
Leadership and management are two essential pillar that leads and organisation to gain
top position in market through performing all work in an effective manner. This is leading
management to complete task and objectives with a simple approach. Small or large business
both performs all organisational work in right manner that make a success in market through
designing strategy that leads management to develop a right vision in organisation that leads to
accomplish resources in an effective manner. This report is written from perspective of Unilever
which is a British-Dutch multinational consumer good provider. It’s headquarter is situated in
London, England from where organisation provides consumer goods at global level (Rudolph,
Rauvola and Zacher, 2018). In the present scenario, leader plays an important role to complete
all task and operations in an appropriate manner by influencing more number of individuals.
Along with this organisational manager are the one who has skills and learning experience that
helps to design different roles and responsibilities in making better goals and objectives. On the
other hand, manager of organisation operate its functions for enhancing overall productivity and
working performance in an organised manner. The leaders and managers perform different
function within organisation through which better results are gained for returning working
behaviour that make enhance to improve working behaviour of employees. With understand of
different circumstances it is identified nature generate difference between leader and manager to
complete and manage organisational work by delegating into different task. Moreover, report
highlights on theories of leadership and management theories along with identifying leadership
and management (Podsakoff and Podsakoff, 2019). Leadership development programmes will
also include in the upcoming report that demonstrate review in the future which is used for
Unilever future leadership program. Along with this management is also focused in completion
of work through understand of task and operations as per individual and organisation.

From the perspective of Susan ward, 2019, leadership refers to the art through which
leader motivates the group of all teams and individuals for accomplish of organisational
objectives and goals. The main motive of leadership is to complete all work and operations
through analysing all aspects that guide all individuals for meet with need of company and also

the workforce. Leadership is also linked with the up-gradation of overall organisational
performance workforce and also company. Effective leaders also develop and enhance the
bottom line of company. If the leaders are not capable to meet with requirements as per business
that also manage stakeholders of organisation for generating more profits within the
organisation. On the other side, management is defined as completion of work through engaging
teams for completion of project through managing work with group members (Okçu, 2014). On
the other side, leadership undertakes different traits which is used by management or manager
through managing organisational work with used of different resources in the disposal method.
Leadership undertakes various aspects that make better communication, inspiration, supervise
and inspire other individuals for completion of work by implementing primary skill for complete
of work as per successful leaders. This is the quality of leaders that makes them to make
naturally results through completing all tasks that leads management for completion of work
with high abilities that make better comparison with others. There are different roles performed
by leader and it turn into responsibilities which leads to pursue dreams and objective of
organisation in right manner that leads to accomplish top position in market. From the viewpoint
of Vikash Kumar, 2019, management can be defined as the process that include different factors
related with planning, organising, controlling and directing different abilities of organisation to
work in a systematic manner. Managers are also known as body of knowledge and the practices
that are used for making effective decisions techniques in order to analyse and measure various
conditions of organisation. Management also refers to a process which undertake authority,
various factors of production and utilisation of resources with effective manner for enhancing the
economy of organisation (Murphy and Murphy, 2018). This also refers to the process of
accomplish organisational goals and objectives within decided period of time. Along with this it
also refers to complete of work in an effective manner so efficient results are gained by
management in making right areas that assign better goals and objectives to gain desired results.
It is also related with efficiency of organisation that make effective outcome for obtain better
outcomes by making efficient results that satisfies all activities to make effective outcomes. This
is also related with the efficiency of organisation in which more number of individuals are
validate to reduce production cost. It is also related with managing and performing all operations
to collect right information through coordinating among all activities. So it results management
