Introduction
Change Management is one of the most important concept
which is necessary for any of the organisation. It is among one of
those concept which is mainly adopted by organization in order to
ensure that they can give competition to rivalry firm where much
important role is always played by leaders and mangers of a
company.
The current scenario says that organisation is required to do
comparison with other organisation because it certainly allows them
to perform effectively. Whenever any of the changes are needed to be
introduced role of management and leader is huge because they are
the one who needs to find out positive and negative side of it. In
context of Holiday Inn, they are also among one of those organisation
which bring changes on a frequent basis and they are need to
understand that which model of change management can effective for
them. Currently, company focuses on Lewins Change Management
Model.
Lewin’s mode of change
In general sense, change is quite common for any of the entity but the main thing
which is needed to be focused is that how those changes are managed by top level
management because simple mistake can create huge problem for the
organisation. Lewin’s Change Management Model explains that any of the
organisation can bring changes into three different stages which has been further
discussed below:
Unfreeze: It is the primary stage which is very much important for any of the
organisation. In this particular process, it is necessary for entity to ensure that
they capable for accepting the changes without creating problem to working
environment. In context of Holiday Inn, they are needed to present the fact that
what it is not useful to work on exiting style where major focus will be on sales
and revenue of a company. This types of situation can only occur in front of the
company where they are unable to compete in market with existing working style.
