To find a leader is one of the dream achievements for the company as it can be said that every

the functioning of the business. If the challenges are resolved by the leaders in a proper manner
then it will be easy to attain the positive outcome in relation to the overall operational activities
of the company. With the changing times, there are different types of leadership challenges that
are faced by the leaders (Harris & Jones, 2015).
One of the challenges is related with lack of communication. It can be said that to communicate
with the employees in the workplace is one of the important leadership qualities of the leader but
on the other hand this not considered as an easy job for the leaders. Many leaders in the
workplace feels disconnected with the employees at the time of managing the activities of the
company. However, it is considered as the challenge that is faced by the leaders in the

ways communication with the members of the team can assists the leaders and teams to consider
the expectations. If the team is clear about their role in the workplace then it helps to put more
efforts into the work which can also lead to the success of the company. Also, it has been
examined that there are many employees in the workplace who have different views and
opinions in relation to the organizational activities. So, it can be stated that to communicate
effectively with the team members is considered as the challenge for the leaders that takes place
at the time of working with the diverse team members in the workplace (Harris & Jones, 2015).
Change management and leadership are considered as the interrelated challenges that are faced
by the leaders in these days. The change management is the standardized process that relates to
the different work environment of the company. At the time of implementing change in the
workplace it is the responsibility of the leaders to focus on putting efforts into accepting and
managing the change in the company. But the challenge takes place in considering the change
and to get the workers believe towards the change. It is essential for the leaders to consider the
change management strategy as there are many leaders who struggle with the change
management due to lack of proper implementation strategy. This is the major challenge that is
faced by the leaders as the changes have to be made due to the changing business environment. If
changes are not made then it can affect the growth of the company in the competitive market. So,
it is important for the leaders to focus on maintaining the challenge so that positive results can be
attained (Black, 2015).
Employee mental health management is the challenge that is faced by the companies in the
present era. There are companies who focus on the promoting the physical activity at work and
to offer the physical health benefits to the workers but there are many cases when the mental
health is also often less spoken. Depression and anxiety are considered as the two common
mental health problems that are faced by the workers in the present era due to high level of stress
in the workplace. But many times the management does not emphasize on giving attention
towards the health issues. The biggest challenge faced by the leaders is to consider the
requirement of the employee mental health awareness and also spreading it. If the leaders ignore
this issue then it can affect the employee disengagement and also reduce the morale and
productivity of the workers. It is important for the leaders to find the best way to consider the

mental health problems and to generate the opportunities for the workers to manage the overall
challenge (Voegtlin, 2016).

of the company in the competitive market (Griffith, Zeni & Johnson, 2016).

to minimize the complex challenges. To solve the challenge related with communication it is
important for the leaders to conduct the meetings so that thee queries of the employees can be
resolved. It will also help to maintain the flow of communication with the management and
through this the employees can easily share their views and opinions. Managerial effectiveness is
also one of the basic factors that should be considered so that the challenge related with lack of
communication can be resolved (Kaptein, 2017)
At the time of conducting the meetings, the employees should be set free to share their views
and opinions with the management so that it could be easy for them to give their best towards the
organizational operations. The biggest challenge in relation to this is also the ability to convince
and influence the stakeholders to follow the regional and global direction. So, in relation to this it
is important to emphasize on setting the overall position of the department so that more value can
be added to the company in context to operational and strategic perspective (Shapiro &
Stefkovich, 2016).
