Introduction
In the paper, the discussion is on the case study in which the focus is on the concept of
leadership, cultural and performance change problems in MEAT PACK. It is the families owned
food processing organization with headquarter in Australia. The company has an experienced in
the sector of meat production. The company has processing plants which are located in
Queensland and New South Wales. Founder of the company is Mr. Derek Bison who is engaged
in the activities of the meat sector. The paper will highlight the questions which are concerned
with MEAT PACK case study.

a.) It is the responsibility of the leaders of the company to focus on boosting the culture of
the company so that workers can carry their routine work on time and also with efficiency. It is
important for leader to maintain the culture so that the workers can easily have the knowledge of
the values of the company. This will ensure that workers should not be reminded on continuous
basis which are important for them to complete. If the mission of the organization is kept in mind
then it can be simple to maintain the values of the organization (Bolman and Deal, 2017). In
context to the given case study, it has been noted that employee will perform the activities
according to themselves and they will take actions which are important to be considered to
manage the entire scenario of the organization.
By considering the given case study, it can be stated that there are various forms related to styles
of management. The styles of management can assist in realizing the goals which are strategic
for the company. There are managers in the company who have the responsibility to boost the
morale of the employees so that they can be meeting the goals and in the workplace there is only
top management who can give positive motivation to the employees in the company
(Tannenbaum and Schmidt, 2017).
By emphasizing on the MEAT PACK CASE, it has been examined that Bison need to evaluate
that how to control the workers and how to give them direction. For example: motivation is
considered as the factor that can only be boosted in the employees when proper directions are

given in relation to the work. These types of workers are aligned towards the overall set
objectives of organization.
The workers are also the one who do not take the responsibility and take accurate decisions
according to the situation. So, in this case it is important to control the activities so that positive
outcome can be attained. It can be examined that there are managers who are engage with the
workers towards the work and by analyzing their performance feedback is given from time to
time. If such types of activities keep on existing them the employees will not be able to give their
best and work with efficiency. It will also affect the ideas in relation to the vision and mission of
the company (Covin and Slevin, 2017).
To consider and to focus on the changes in relation to culture and performance, it is important for
the company to focus managing the activities. In the company the style of leadership also exist
which can create partnership and also they do not criticize it. Also, the changes that are taking
place in relation to the new leadership can consider the approach related to hand off. The leaders
in this category boost the motivation of thee employees towards the set objectives as a leader. It
also allows them to consider the hand off approach which can assist the workers to attain growth
and success (Babalola, Stouten and Euwema, 2016).
For Bison, hand off approach should be considered so that the activities can be managed of the
team without impacting the line of authority. He should not involve in the organizational
activities when the strategic change is considered. If this takes place then it also impact on the
changes that are taking place in the workplace.
The productivity level is also important to be maintained so that the customers can consider the
strategic change. There are various areas which are necessary to considered in relation to hand
off approach as it emphasizes on the direct reports that will assist in considering the entire
workers activities taking place in the department and they will be able to meet the set targets
(Bernato, 2017).
For Bison, it can be one of the challenges as in hand off approach the employees are not able to
develop their skills and if it is developed then it takes place in a slow way. It can also take place,
when the hand off managers do not assist in supporting at right degree as it is important for the
workers to boost their skills so that positive results can be attained. If the change management
technique is considered then it will be important for Bison to emphasize on the acts related to
time related to time bound as it can be seen that hand off approach can led to slow process from
