enhance the experiences of the customers and the functioning of the operations.
Leadership is a term that plays a significant role in business and digital transformation,
digital technology is the factor that can be used by any sector of the business to create
potential and value in the eyes of customers. The report is going to highlight the role and
value of leadership in new digital business as digital transformation has helped businesses

to succeed even in the hardest circumstances. The project will elaborate on how the topic is
developed which is “Importance of leadership for new digital business”. Various ways of
technology are used in leadership that will also be covered in the report (Schönsleben,
2018).
Why do you deem this topic to be of importance?
Nowadays, Digital business is the key business that keeps updated and keeps up with the
demands of the customers. Also, it allows the company to compete better in the market
with competitors. Leadership is considered to be a vital function in an organization that
allows the company to increase the overall efficiency and in attaining the targeted goals of
the organization (Boamah, Zhang, and Miah, 2021). As the world is changing and the
business is shifting online, it is required to meet the high demands of the customers by
making use of digital experience. Along with it, the companies and organizations have some
software that allows them to operate better in the daily operations of the business. Digital
leaders always make sure that they give importance to leadership, creativity, and willingness
to explore various ways to use technology to complete projects effectively. Also, in today’s
world, digital leadership is considered to be an obvious balancing act that requires a proper
set of skills to bring success for that leader, organization, and overall workforce of the
company.

In the present time, people spend more money online instead of other ways that is one of
the main reasons, almost all businesses have shifted their business to online presence by
using digital channels. Companies make use of existing technologies to understand the
custo0mers by gathering the data for giving the best quality of services to the customers.
The topic that is “Importance of leadership for new digital business” has developed these
days and it is essential for the companies for the aim of organizing the company better and
also due to proper digitalization, the management can understand the customers and
employees better. While implementing the digital change to the business, the company

customers. Changes can be confusing for some employees which is why it is the main duty

vendors, and business partners, which can also contribute to improving customer and
employee satisfaction at a quicker response rate with better accuracy rates. Moreover, the
associated costs often decrease as the company operates more efficiently.
Such technologies are available to keep the business updated. For example, word
processing, cloud computing, project management, accounting, file sharing, machine
learning, mobile applications, digital assistants, emailing clients, artificial intelligence, VoIP,
and many others.
Above mentioned technologies are used to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the
operations. Also, such tools and technologies are used to safeguard the data to make the
important decisions that lead to competitive advantages (Choi and Luo, 2019).

rent access which also reduces the expenses of maintaining heavy IT infrastructures. Word processing- It helps the companies to make text text-related tents by typing
and it also comprises having several tools that are used to format the data. For
example, a company can use it to make a marketing plan to promote the product or
make policies for human resources.
 Digital assistants- This is an advanced computer program that supports the
companies to meet the demands for various productivity with better quality. These
are also represented by technologies like voice as assistance, chatbots, and many
others.

market as technology has changed every aspect of life at a fast pace. The tools are effective
because these are required to maintain the level of communication as the workers on the
field are tend to be connected with the management. Technology is essential in the
operations of the company as it allows to reduce the chances of duplications and errors.
Without the proper technology, the company will not be able to save more time by being

more productive and competitive. These tools are effective as it also keeps the data safe for
the clients and employees. One of the main roles of technology in the business is to elevate
the level of growth by improving the operations of the company. Various companies and

As the technology is getting an advance that has led to bringing new devices that provide
support to the company by increasing the profits and keeping the customers happy (Qiu and
Pesch, 2019). Technology has created a major impact on various aspects that as culture,
efficiency, and customers. There are various tasks of the company like file keeping,
accounting, inventory management for that company need technology and digitalization to
perform the above-mentioned tasks. There is a direct relationship between the digital
technologies and the management as the companies have started making use of various
technology tools to improve the customer’s services such as-
Social Media- The company takes the help of the online community that acts as a link
between the company and customers such as the queries, questions, doubts, or complaints
can also be sorted by using this platform.
E-mail- On the other hand, Email is said to be the traditional way of communicating with the
customers as this is used to explain the features of the products or about a new product
that is going to be launched in the market. This technology is used as a channel for
marketing campaigns or to make any changes in the campaigns.
Websites- Before digitalization, a website used to be the link between the customers and
the company and now it is used as a marketing tool (Elding and Morris, 2018). In the era of
social media and digitalization, having a website is a must as it presents the image of the
company in In front of the customers. Once the company has a website then the company
has more visitors which can be converted into leads in the future.
The organization has various departments that are related to the material, human,
informational, financial resources of the company. Due to technological changes, the
companies get affected as it will lead to an increase in the need for new people who have
managerial, social, and diplomatic skills. Due to new technologies, the businesses get the
chance of improving their marketing tactics that would help in the growth of the business.
Due to technology, it has now become easier and more accessible to have a successful
business. When any company starts its business then it is required to delegate the work and
the tasks such as managers, social media managers, marketing experts, account executives,

and many others. Technology has become the lifeline of businesses and also customers are
spending their precious time on social media too that is why the company needs to take

technology is to make things more affordable for people as people take notice of the cost of
products. An effective digital leader knows the goals of the business and gives importance to
communication and creativity so that new ways of technology can be explored to help the

Due to digitalization, the company can have a better digital culture, by having productive
employees that will directly enhance the level of customer satisfaction and more revenue.
