INTRODUCTION
Leadership is an important tool which is used to direct the internal workforce on the most
efficient manner. Leaders of an organisation applies different theories and models that best suits
the organisational objectives and internal workforce. These leadership and management
approaches helps monitor and execute the business functions in the most effective manner. It
determines the right approach which suits the organisational objectives and achieve productivity
at work (Ahn, Lee and Yun, 2018). Leadership and management also defines the different ways
in which the internal management of an organisation can be managed in order to accomplish
organisational objectives. It involves monitoring, execution, planning, motivation in order to
accomplish effective internal management. Leadership plays an important role to coordinate
different efforts if the individuals in the right direction and accomplish organisational objectives.
Without leadership it will be difficult to determine the right structure for completing any task in
the organisation. On the other hand, management is defined by the internal workforce of an
organisation, there are different management models which defines the patterns and structure of
workforce, the way in which the work has to be accomplished. Leaders and manager shoulder
different responsibilities and duties in order to monitor the activities of the employees.
Employees in an organisation are motivated by different financial and non-financial tools in
order to motivate the employees and achieve the productivity at work (Crawford and Kelder,
2019). The right management models involve coordinating efforts of the individual in a way
which helps to accomplish business success and growth. In the context of Marks and spencer
which is the UK based multinational organisation. It delivers quality products and services to the
customers worldwide including food, fashion apparels, banking services. This report covers
