The role of leadership in supporting staff development
The profession of working with children is an essential one which needs adequate amount of
knowledge. There is need of effective communication with parents, children, staff so that goals
can be achieved in a specified time frame. There is proper dedication and requirement for
gaining knowledge and enhancing the working stability and capabilities (Smit, and et.al, 2019).
The leaders who become capable of managing leadership in early childhood are assisted by
professional development. This leads to various educational quality programs which are provided
with effective service. There are various roles and responsibilities of educational leaders that are
involved in managing and supporting development of staff members. This is an extremely
essential factor for managing and controlling learning styles common knowledge strength of staff
in order to motivate them. For becoming a strong leader, there is need of being passionate and
committed for managing the learning process which includes a lifelong journey of enhancing
knowledge.
There are several educational leaders who are involved in in managing changes within
process. It is required for developing opportunities and enhancing improvement within childhood
programs. This helps in in managing as well as guiding efforts by professionals and encouraging
improvement within organisation. There are various situations which are present while managing
leadership. Various type of strategies and planning is required for or enhancing as well as
improving quality of knowledge and education. It is involved in in developing and maintaining
teaching of adults as well as children. There are various educators who have to collaborate and
co-ordinate for building strong relationships. There are number of strength and interest factors
involved with them team and individual development and learning styles. It is considered that it
there is requirement of strong strategies and planning in order to effect knowledge conversations
for professional development of various individuals who are pursuing leadership learning.
Leadership is one of the important factor required for any field to control and manage individual
as well as group efforts. These play an active role and responsibility for managing and achieving
objectives and goals. There are educational leaders who can provide support for educator’s as
well as monitoring the practice of learning style. When there are changes within learning style, it
is concluded that various complex changes effective leadership styles. It also affects expertise

skills as well as knowledge that can effect flexible leadership the then learning environment or
culture. Moreover, there are few factors related to leadership that state need of having formal
training, coaching as well as mentoring for effective organisational changes.
There are various leaders who have to enhance their knowledge and gain in depth information
about staff management and development. It means emphasizing upon learning style of
individual and providing them effective coaching as well as development sessions so that they
can manage effective operations.. there are various leaders who have to manage their employees
and staff development activities in such a way that it each and every individual is provided
efficient and effective way for managing the potential knowledge and skills for sharing
communal benefits and advantages. Proper staff development is required for enhancing career of
individuals working in the company e and managing functioning of business operations
(Sønsterud, and et.al, 2020). There are various professional development activities required for
managing and enhancing knowledge of staff and increasing the overall performance of company.
Different type of leaders were present in earlier period who were involved in in managing
control over followers by developing trust and building strong relationships. There is
requirement of hope, optimisation as well as courage. It was used in order to maintain setback
and overcome obstacles in the way of success. There is requirement of developing increased
level of confidence as well as determination for managing and relying upon backup that can be e
helpful in developing trusted teams. There is importance of successful change implementation so
that all the stages of organisational change can be managed for controlling various trust issues
and bond among followers and leaders.
It is considered that for supporting various educators, there is need for managing and
controlling knowledge of high quality child focus educational programs that will lead to manage
the children effectively. There are various educational leaders required for enhancing and
building trust relationships with educator’s for enhancing the knowledge. According to various
settings given by educators, it is analysed that proactive succession planning strategies can be
used for nurturing and managing future leadership. There are various intentional leaders present
it in business environment who have the control over learning process and successfully
implementing guidelines for or enhancing the relationship between educator and children.

Rationale
There is requirement of enhancing professional development in different individuals because it
is known as a continuous process that is involved in in preparing new educator for enhancing
their knowledge. It is defined as formal and ongoing preparation which provides the childhood
educator to know how to provide effective knowledge and in hands the skills of children
(Dobronyi, Oreopoulos, and Petronijevic, 2019). Within a profession like education, there is
requirement of managing skills and knowledge so that it is easy to provide good knowledge to
other children. Professional development within early childhood is needed for increasing the
quality of service provided to students and children. One of the most effective method is staff
development which means enhancing basic skills of teachers and improvising their performance.
There are several programs involved in enhancing in-depth knowledge of different early care
perspectives of education. In this manner, it is considered that various training programs are
involved for managing leadership goals and providing effective training. There are different
issues that are involved within providing specific training for managing strong leadership
position.
There are two type of leadership such as distributed leadership as well as mentoring which
helps in enhancing staff knowledge. This involves providing theoretical knowledge into practical
manner of teaching children. In context of supervisory leadership, different people working at
various levels of management have to analyse their career development. There are various type
of leaders who you are involved in in managing high level of conceptual behaviour and thinking.
There are different educators who think that did not have enough skills to work in the profession
like teaching. They are very disappointed and demotivated professionals. There are various
individuals who have to be e motivated in order to manage success as well as competency
(Pritchard, and et.al, 2020). There are several collaborative strategies which are used for
managing successful approach. There are various orientations that are to be managed for
extensive experience coma background and knowledge of problem solving. Several learning
framework are utilised for providing in-depth knowledge of learning styles and increasing the
professional knowledge.
Collecting information and data
There is a process involved within development of professional planning so that data can
be gathered for managing ideas of participants that can enhance knowledge. Various interests,

concerns fields and areas are to be improved so that organisational objectives and goals can be
attained easily. There were several parts in worksheet that demonstrated planning of conference.
This part is included in appendix 1 and 2. There is need of managing the work for managing the
work. It helps in enhancement of learning styles so that goals can be achieved properly. Also,
there is need to manage the effectiveness of knowledge and skill enhancement among the
educators. It leads to increase benefits for learning of children.
Planning meeting
There is a mentoring approach used for organising various meetings that can enhance
professional learning of educator. There is requirement of effective mentoring that can be e
involved in one of these strategies which will lead to professional development. There is formal
mentoring used for enhancing needs and demands of teachers (Dutzi, and et.al, 2019). There is
requirement of providing professional satisfaction two teachers so that they can behave as strong
mentors.
Individual goal setting
First of all, I used to introduce all the problems and issues that can arise while providing
strong and effective teaching. Meeting was planned in order to improve the quality of service
provided by educator and solving their issues. I started with problem solving approach that can
help in in knowing and analysing problems of staff members. I have good communication skills
and these have helped me to manage long term goals and objectives for expanding knowledge
about skills and abilities of tutors. I talked about various ways by which workplace environment
can be e made more positive and efficient. I told them about management strategies that can be
helpful for maintaining classroom and children. In this meeting, there was a discussion about
various learning styles as well as documentation that helps educator to solve various problems.
There are several leaders who have to be e effective in such a manner that there is exploration of
ideas and in depth knowledge for motivating work and inspiring people to develop their career.
Individual development plans
It is very efficient to motivate individuals about managing personal growth and developing a
clear understanding for strength and professional development (Bailey, 2019). It is considered
that affective regulations are used for managing the strength as well as enhancement of
professional development requirements. It is considered that it within individuals, there is need

to have professional development for ensuring effective functioning of business operations.
There is also a requirement of transferring data as well as information bye managing a proper
format that can be beneficial for employees and staff. There are few employees who are unaware
about managing enhancement of knowledge and utilising resources for managing the
effectiveness as well as completion of business activities. There are various ways of managing
professional development and increasing knowledge and skills of individuals. There are various
leaders and managers who have to notice and analyse few employees and staff members to
know what is the importance of new trends and information within leadership styles. There are
several educators who are benefited from using effective styles for training and mentoring of
individual learning style.
Group goal setting
Meeting is planned for employees and staff and main focus is upon managing goal setting.
There are various goals and objectives of educator which are helpful in increasing knowledge
regarding learning styles. It is important that advocated analysis approach is used for teachers in
order to evaluate and identify strength. In context of worksheet 8, it is evaluated that mentoring
program is important for or attaining organisational goals and objectives. These are short in
appendix 3 and 4. There is development of mentoring program which will support attainment of
goals. There is no motivation provided to educators and this is helpful for managing the
beginning of goals. There is need of effective communication which will help in in ensuring that
it all the educators are properly listened and respected for developing teamwork. There are
various problem solving issues used for empathetic and respectful manner so that there is no
harm to the individuals. Mentoring and team meetings will affect learning style of educator and
in this way, they will provide effective knowledge and service to people. Various guest lectures
and training sessions are developed in order to motivate and encourage staff professionals. This
plan is developed for enhancing learning styles and management. There is great importance of
staff development strategy that can be used for stimulating various professionals involved in
teaching. There is another mentoring system which is spare support and this provides help in
managing higher and less qualified staff members. There are various goals which can be
achieved by increasing knowledge of educators.

Staff development action plan
Main objective of developing a staff development action plan is to analyse outgrowth of working
in such a manner that goals and objectives are achieved. There is proper plan developed in order
to enhance the knowledge. Main objective of action plan is to develop activities resources time
and evaluation of previous meeting. This will provide help in in collaborating and coordinating
various educator as well as colleges for managing networks that can be used for controlling
educating system. There are various time periods when there is need of consultations that can
involve collaborative approach for motivating and encouraging Idea sharing. Some educators
have to understand that various potential ideas and planning is required to make the teaching
discussions productive and efficient. There is need for managing proper ways of enhancing
listening skills buy the mentoring approach. It is considered that effective listening is required
for increasing goals and objectives that can be achieved in specific time frame. It is required that
various educators are involved in in increasing collaborative as well as reflective learning so that
professional learning communities can be developed. During that time, I used less directive
supervision to allow the educators to think through different courses of action by themselves.
The professional development of staff through the mentoring and professional learning sessions
adopted in my plan demonstrates how our service meets element 7.2.3 of the National Quality
Standard (NQS).
There is requirement of active listening which will be helpful in enhancing value and respect of
leaders within various opportunities. It can be seen that strong and effective leadership can lead
to development of positive organisational culture that can be e helpful for manager professional
learning. I have seen that when strong leadership is present then there are more opportunities for
leaders to manage and control operations in effective manner.
Evaluation
Action plan is developed and next step is to evaluation process which helps in in assessing value,
success and results that can impact needs and demands of the direct action towards attainment of
goals and objectives. action plan have to be developed in a better manner so that there is
understanding of requirements and demands of student learning process. I have worked with
intense and developed various skills and ability as much help me to manage various business
