Introduction:
The aim of the paper is to evaluate the internal operation of an organization. Different
steps and the importance of implementing operational planning will be discussed in the paper.
Setting proper budget is very important factor of running the business in a cost effective manner
(Ansoff, et al. 2018). Thus, this paper will also evaluate the impact of budget on the operational
plan.
Define operations planning:
Operational planning is refereed as the process of developing comprehensive planning
the strategic goals and objectives. The fundamental purpose of operational plan is to provide a
clear picture to the human resources in an organization about their roles and responsibilities.
Setting the clear objectives for the staffs is the initial step of developing operational plan (Ginter
et al. 2018). It supports in making the staffs understand their role and responsibility. Determining
the necessary resources is another important process of developing operational plan. It is
imperative to set the time and necessary human resources. Communicating the priorities is
another major step of developing operational plan. The senior management of the firms should
communicate the fundamental objectives to the staffs (Hill 2017). Assigning the roles and
responsibilities is another crucial process of developing operation plan.
