Executive summary
This reflection journal will be focused on my leadership journey regarding how I figure out
my talent, knowledge and turned them in to my core strength. Further this report will analyze my
personality result of the Gallup strength and comparison between two similar tests that are DISC
assessment and 5 personality tests. Through the course of subject came across different readings
and tried to relate that what leadership style I need to follow and what I want to implement in my
future in order to strengthen my leadership skill.

INTRODUCTION
Developing as leaders is not a short term process or plan because god leadership qualities
take time to be part of one's personality (Flumerfel and Green, 2022). Leadership abilities are
nurture within a specific environment or surrounding and context where there is need to bring a
discipline in life (Pertiwi, 2022). In this report I have taken approach of the self development as a
leader and the self awareness is cornerstone of this approach. In order bring a discipline and
routine to the life, there are certain specific models of the self development. Leadership has
fundamental duty and obligations to help other people. Individuals are not followers only, they
accept the leadership when they consider leader able to represent them (Gurr, Drysdale and
Goode, 2022). This report will be based on the key journey of leadership, current role and
responsibility, a reflection on the personal achievements, comparison between two test,
implication and so on.
Reflection on my leadership journey to date
I was born in a small village of Australia. I have studied in boarding school within my
village till 6th standard, where I was topper of my class. After this I went to a nearby city for study.
Here, again I topped my all classes. It was quite difficult for me to adjust and cope with new
environment and friend in city. After school, I have completed my higher secondary level. After
this I had faced many challenges. I took part in various competition that was a turning point for
my lifer as after this I got a lot of opportunities where I can build my career. When I was a
monitor in my classes, then I had learnt about how to lead whole class with some people and after
wining the competitions I learnt to lead a huge mass of the people.
Current role and position
Currently I am living in Australia an pursuing my master's degree and I also working as a
cafe all rounder. So this, is completely a new thing in my life from what I had done in past. I had
worked with various media personalties in radio, journalism and television. By focusing on my
current role as cafe all rounder, so I had faced many challenge like understanding of work's nature,
people, accents of specking and many more. Likewise, working with the people belonging to some

Reflection on my achievements
Who influenced me
Every person get influenced by someone in their life (Naudé, 2022). I got influenced my
father's friend who has been an inspiration for me. He is a business man and leader around 300
employees, there I observe that how they lead people and I also start to learn that how to control
huge mass. I also got influenced by my father who is a social worker and work as a social activist
in different social organisations. He encouraged me to take part in different social events and other
competition as it help me to identify my weakness and abilities.
Significant events contributed to my self perception
As I always top my class and got appointed as class monitor so that I can control and lead
the whole class regarding discipline, homework's collection, submission to teacher, keeping record
of unusual activities and so on. That was a time when I realize of being capable for leading a
group though I also feared of being unable to perform my responsibilities and duties. Later I
worked as vice president in succeeding year and then president. Form this time, I start to work
with the people form various sectors like I had played the basket ball on state level, I participated
in dance and quizzes competitions and other sports.
Exposure to different filed like sports, media help me a lot to become all rounder. My father
facilitate a proper training for further polishing my knowledge and skill. Various thoughts
navigated in my mind during small achievement and practices or training for future. Further, all
these training build an essential steps for a better future. By participating in different filed, a
person become more contributed and talented (Sridaran, Bakshi and Reynaldo, 2022).

am a person who learn from my mistakes and them effort to improve it. It is significant for
me to refine the ways I learn better and utilize it for effective learning.

also improve these thing or qualities as well.
