Introduction
The concept of the organizational behavior refers to the study of the individual and
the group performance as well as activity that are undertaken by the concerned business
organization. The study of the organizational behavior attempts an examination on the human
behavior in the work environment. The study of the organizational behavior further puts forth
a determination of the impact that the human behavior on the workplace communication the
leadership within the organization, the structure of the jobs within the organization, the
performance of the employees within the organization as well as the motivation that is
provided to the employees within the organization. The organizational behavior helps in the
development of the interpersonal relationships among the people serving the organization at
the various hierarchical levels. The study of the organizational behavior is to help the proper
management of the people and the overall departments of the organization thereby
maintaining a proper development of the overall performance of the company.
Woolworths is one of the major retail organizations that are active within the
territorial boundaries of Australia. The retail magnet is known to have been functional in the
Australian territories since the year 1924. The company is known to have a better hold on the
retail industry that have been operational within the territories of the Australia. The
concerned company is known to have been responsible for the majority of the parts of the
Australian economy and market. The retail organization is majorly known to be dealing
majorly with the sales of the groceries apart from the various other products. the company is
known to have earned a revenue of around 56.726 billion Australian dollars during the fiscal
year of 2018 and is known to have been functional with the total organizational workforce
consisting of 115000 people.
