INTRODUCTION
Leadership has playing an important part in every business or non business entities. It is needed
for smooth running, operating and working of that organisation. Leadership role has main aim of
influencing, motivating, directing and controlling operations of the staff members of that
enterprise. Leaders make and plans for goals and objectives that need to be achieved(Amtu,
Siahay and Taliak, 2019). For this assignment Grosvenor casino is selected. It was founded in
1966. It is a UK based chain of 53 casinos that are located in major towns and cities of UK.
Grosvenor casino even has two unbranded sister casinos that are located in Belgium. Its
headquaters are located in Maidenhead in UK. In this following stated report, mentioning of
reflections that are needed to demonstrate leadership styles, concepts, theories and other
leadership qualities is done (Steckelberg and Harrer, 2021) . It also states the areas of leadership
styles or skills that needs some improvisation. Leadership action plan is required and will help
in developing and improving all the required skills, abilities or knowledge about leadership
styling, these all will result in timely achievement of all pre determined goals and objectives of
the enterprise, making leadership as the main element for operating and working in that
enterprise.

MAIN BODY
TASK
I have learned that leadership has a very important and very necessary role to play and is
important to acknowledge and use in organisation. Leadership simply means what are the
different qualities and abilities of a person that he possesses for directing and managing or
influencing followers, team members or staff or group of members in an enterprise (Bazargani,
Hakemi and Tafaghghodi, 2018). Leaders build and create ideas, thoughts and aim in having
business's vision with pre determined goals and objectives, then they take important decisions,
and they finally involve certain number of individuals with the necessary and required
knowledge and techniques and policies that are required to accomplish those pre set objectives. I
was provided an opportunity to be a leader of in Grosvenor casino(Place and Vardeman-
Winter, 2018). Being a leader, some basic managerial traits and characteristics were needed to
be within me, such as fluent and clear communication skills, self-confidence, full of motivation
and inspirational role, creative and innovative working and thinking style, dynamic personality,
risks taker, quick reactions that are needed in contingencies and many other are required. It is
necessary for me to be very effective and efficient.
For the practical applicability and attainment of pre determined goals and objectives for
organisation, I needed to improve my knowledge as leader and for that I went through a lot
different model, theories, techniques, approaches. During my learning experience, I came to
know about a lot of theories about leadership(Waddington, 2019). Trait theory of leadership
says that there are defined traits of personality in a leader that makes them different from others
and from their employees. I learned that this theory states that leaders neither can be created or
made nor they can be taught or learned about certain skills and techniques(Dhiman and Marques,
Leadership After COVID-19). There are certain qualities that make them leaders. As a leader, I
have extrovert personality and enjoys company of people. Being a leader, this concept proved
very essential to me in letting know traits to lead and direct my team.
Motivation acts as a main element that helps in making understand employees in directly and
controlling and also in getting their work done for Grosvenor casino. My self confidence is my
another trait for leading my team members. Cognitive ability is also an essential trait that helped
me with effective leading and maintaining quality work of my team.
