Introduction
In the present scenario, leaders play an integral part of social life along with work as
in any situation, when the people will be requiring to achieve the goals, a proper and effective
leader is required who will be helpful in guiding the teams in achieving the desired goals in
an accurate manner. The main aim and purpose of the essay is to identify the concept and
nature of leadership approach which can be used by the different organizations to conduct the
different business-related activities. Furthermore, from the analysis of different situations, it
might be necessary for changing and modifying the style related to leadership in relation to
the changing national along with organizational related contexts.
Overview and Analysis of Nature of Leadership
As commented by Amanchukwu, Stanley and Ololube (2015), the leadership is the
process of influencing the different kinds of activities of the individuals or groups in efforts
towards the achievement of the different goals within the specified time span. In the
respective essence, the leadership is inclusive of accomplishing the different goals with as
well as through people. In addition, as commented by Braun et al. (2013), the leadership is
the setting of the new direction or vision for the group which assists in maximising the
efficiency and achieve the organizational goals in a positive manner. In the current scenario,
leadership is one of the most essential functions of management that helps in achieving the
maximum efficiency along with achieving the organizational goals in a successful manner.
In addition, as stated by Ciulla (2013), both leaders and their leadership skills play
important aspect in the growth of the different organizations and the leaders should have the
proper ability to maintain proper and effective interpersonal relations with followers or
subordinates and motivate them in achieving the objectives of the organization in a positive
manner. As opined by Mabey (2013), the leadership is the ability of the leaders in the

companies to influence the behaviors of the employees in the company in order to achieve a
common purpose which will help them in cooperating with one another for the fulfillment of
the same. In addition, McCleskey (2014) has stated that leadership is termed as continuous
process wherein the leaders guide each and every employee to make sure that their efforts are
going in similar direction and they do not deviate from the goals as well. In different
companies, initiating the actions is essential as leadership starts from beginning and leaders
communicates the different policies to subordinates as to commence the tasks in a proper
manner.
Analysis of Impact of Good and Positive Leadership
According to Nanjundeswaraswamy and Swamy (2014), the leaders in the different
kinds of companies helps in solving the conflicts in a proper manner as the leaders allows the
different followers with freedom to express their views which will be helpful in making them
feel that they are important in the workplace and their opinions are being valued as well.
Moreover, as opined by Nichols and Erakovich (2013), the leadership is the important factor
for making the organization successful and it is art of influencing the different individuals to
perform the different assigned tasks competently, willingly and efficiently.
As stated by Nicholson and Carroll (2013), when the good leadership is in place in respective
organization, the same can be felt throughout the company and the outcomes which will be
achieved will be positive. Moreover, as per Nichols and Erakovich (2013), the good
leadership helps in developing a proper and effective culture and there is no forcing of culture
in the organization. In addition, as commented by Nanjundeswaraswamy and Swamy (2014),
the communication is required to be effective and open as due to the same, it will be helpful
in making the employees understand the vision as well as goals of the organization clearly. In
such scenario, the different inputs which are provided by the subordinates will be valued and

the inputs will be helpful in improving their situation in a positive manner (Shenhar 2015).
The people working in the companies feel that they are important asset of the company and
they provide the best for the overall success of the company that will be enhancing the
activities performed by them in a positive manner.
As commented by Yukl et al. (2013), leaders prove to be efficient in training along
with development of their subordinates as he provides proper information regarding the
different modern techniques of the work and leaders in the companies try to make the
employees suitable in handling the different activities which will be assisting them in
becoming successful leader in the future as well. Additionally, there are various kinds of
leaders present in the different organizations which can create both positive or negative
impact on the overall productivity of the firm and the morale of the employees who are
present in the market.
As opined by Parris and Peachey (2013), the achievement of the goal is making vision
turn in reality wherein there should be proper plan which can be followed in various teams
whether strong or weak, as it will be helpful in achieving the goals within stipulated time
frame. As commented by Saeed et al. (2014), the inspirational leaders need to have crystal
clear vision related to the goal which needs to be achieved by them as it will be enhancing the
tasks which are being performed by them. A proper and clear vision plays a vital role that
helps in driving the team for productive kind of outcome and it matters a lot.
Analysis of Leadership Styles in Relation to Ethics, Beliefs, Values and Character
In the present scenario, as commented by Shenhar (2015), the organizations in the
present scenario does not have proper luxury of stability as it faces increasing change in
markets, technology along with customers. There are different kinds of challenges in the
business environment and the organizations need to accept, adopt along with implement the
