EXECUTIVE SUMMERY This report includes the basic factors that are needed in the organization to maintain healthy working environment and its behavior to achieve future goals. There are two important factors that plays essential role in changing the behavior of the employees towards their working and those are leadership and motivation. This report includes the different theories of leadership and the motivation with the importance of both in the working of the organization. INTRODUCTION Organizational behavior is defined as the study of the behavior of an individual entity that makes impacts on the organizational culture and the performance. The performance of an individual depends on the many challenging and the situational factors that makes the impacts on the success and the profit of accompany. Organizational behavior defines how an individual and the organization should behave in context of achieving the organizational desired goals. There are no human behavior is same and to make balance in order to generate the performance in terms of performing tasks and the activities called organizational behavior. The managers with whom employees working should be able to evaluate and modify human behavior depends largely upon the knowledge, skills and the experience of an individual(Balwant, 2018). The aim of this report is to highlight the theories and the concepts of the leadership and the motivation skill in the organization and the importance the both the leadership and the motivation had on the success of the business. TASKS Topic 1 Leadership It is defined as the ability to make influence on the group of people or an individual and provide guidance to the team members to an organization in order to establish an effective organization environment as well as for achieve the goals. The leader should have the qualities that are strong , innovative thinking, management skills and the willingness to take risk to made change in the organization. In a business leadership made multiple impacts that take the organization on the way to success(Enyioko, 2021). There are different theories and the concepts that effects on the
working of the organization. With the application of these theories on the organization it helps in organizing the environment in a positive way. Some of these theories are discussed below: Contingency theory– This theory states that there are different leadership style is applicable in different situation in the organization. It includes that there are different variables that makes impacts on the organizational situation but with the right course of action , a leader can makes change in that situation . An effective leadership makes the effective balances among the needs of the employees with the behavior and the motives of the business(Heyler and Martin, 2018). The leadership must have the quality ti identify and evaluate the situation and then make implementations of the leadership skills that handles the situation well with the productive output. Situational Leadership theory- This theory states that there are no leadership style that is perfect or best in any situation instead of that it evaluate that best leaders and the leadership is that which adapt or make changes in the direction and guidance based on the situation . This theory considers the flexibility and defines that leadership is works on the maturity level of the leaders and the followers. According to the situational leadership theory different situation demands different course of action in the decision making process. Transformational leadership theory- This theory works on the relationship between the leaders and the followers . It states that a leaders should possess the following qualities to make influence on the followers such as the one should be encouraging, charismatic, hard working and the most important make impact on the working of the employee. This style provide motivation to the employees by their capability to make them understand the importance of tasks and the higher goo involve in performing it(Khaola and Rambe, 2020). A leaders should focus on the team performance and provide them required knowledge and the motivation in order to perform the tasks well. Transactional theory- This theory mainly concentrates on the supervision and the organization work. This theory states that there should be reward for the good working and the punishment for those who didn’t perform the task well. This theory makes the best impact on the working of an organization as providing rewards to the best performers also motivates others to work hard

Trait theory of leadership- This theory assumes that leaders are born with the capability that makes the suitable for the role of an leader and highlights certain qualities that make the apart from others such as sense of responsibility, creative, innovative, intelligent and the accountable for the quality work(Koenka, 2020). And these are the qualities that make an individual entity a leader. Importance of effective leadership that make impact on organizational behavior. Generates vision- An effective leadership in the organization build a clear vision of what an organization need to achieve . A leader provides the way on which employees work and resource their business needs in terms of work as per the desired target the company wants to achieve. Helps in decision making- A leader helps in the decision making in order to make organization successful . Leaders are perfect and experienced in analyzing the situation and makes the right decision in accordance to the circumstances. Leaders know the strengths and the weaknesses and makes sure they make decision that works to provide advantage in the organization. Guidance- The work that has been done by the employees in the organization needs an effective supervision of the leaders with that the guidance which helps in making
improvement in the working. In overall leaders ensures that workers efforts align with the organizational goals through enhance efficiency. Provides growth in the organization- The effective leaders build the working and healthy environment that helps in growth in the business. They generates the new innovative ideas and the techniques that results in the flexibility in the work and gives sense of encouragement to the subordinates to work in the processes that increases the chances of individual as well as organization growth. Builds coordination-An effective leadership makes the balances in interest of employees with the organizational growth and objectives. Leaders know the employees working reasons with that they make alignment with the business working environment . They builds a suitable environment for their employees to work effectively. Topic 2 Motivation It is describes as theanalysation of the needs , wants and the derives of an individual in the organization and makes employees influence in their working in terms of satisfying those needs and wants. It is the procedure that guides employees and maintains their goal oriented behaviors(Schunk and DiBenedetto, 2020). There are various types of motivation that make influence in the working of an individual such as biological, emotional, cognitive and the social forces. There are multiple motivation theory that works as deriving effective working from an individual, some of them are discussed below: Maslow’s hierarchy of needs-This theory provides the hierarchy of needs into the pyramid shape with the basic needs of an person in the bottom of the pyramid and more high level . In respect of motivation an organization needs to fulfill that needs of an employee in order to generate tasks and activities of the company(Siangchokyoo, Klinger and Campion, 2020). In this theory it states that a person can only on to another level after addressing and fulfilling the basic needs of the pyramid. Physiological needs- This is the basic and the lower needs in the hierarchy of the pyramid. It states that the most basic needs consist human survival needs that are food and water, enough rest, clothing and shelter, health and the reproduction. It comprises
that theses basic physiological needs must be fulfilled for the basic stability in the life of human and after that human moves on the next level of the fulfillment. Safety needs- The next stage includes that safety is the second priority in the physiological needs and it includes the protection from the violence and the theft , increment in the well being, stability in the health security , emotional stability and the last financial security(Wang, 2018). The safety needs states that a person needs stability and the safety in the life after the basic needs and this drives a person to work more in order to generate the safety needs. Love and the belonging needs- The third level in the Maslow’s hierarchy includes the human interaction and their satisfaction from the lives. In this level of physiological needs it stated that friendship and family bonds both with the biological needs of a human. A person needs physical and emotional intimacy in the life and is important to achieving the feeling of elevated kinship. Membership and involvement in the social groups contributes to meet the needs of a person. This needs is the last of the lower needs of the human. Esteem needs- This is the first stage of the higher needs which states that the basic element of the esteem are self respect which involves the belief and valuing deserving dignity and the self-esteem s which includes the confidence in a person potential in context of personal growth and accomplishments. This stage in the Maslow’s includes two types of elements that are acknowledgement from the others and the self- assessment. Self-actualization needs- This stages describes as the fulfillment of a person potential as a human being. It also called as the self fulfillment needs ,it occupy the highest position in the pyramid of Maslow’s hierarchy and this includes education, skill development, refining of the talents such as music, dance, designing, cooking and many more(Wu, 2020). This stage set apart from others as after the completion of the needs of the human being it moves to fulfillment of intrinsic values and hobbies. As by fulfilling their needs motivates them and build trust on the organization and by this favorable attitudes maintains the organization growth and to be successful. By the needs motivation employees plans to work wholeheartedly with the loyalty in the organization and this commitment requires the motivated workforce. Makes organizational efficiency- Motivation is important in the changing organizational behavior towards effective performance in the tasks and the activities in the company as it changes the attitudes of the employees in the organization. The presence of favorable motivation in the organization allows the change in the working ability of workers and thrives organization. Reduced absenteeism in the organization– Motivation through the financial incentives and the non-financial incentives motivates the employees to work more and reduced the absenteeism in the organizations and provides benefit by increment in the productivity. CONCLUSION From the above report it is concluded thatOrganizational behavior is defined as the right behavior of the employees and the leaders in the organization which results in increment in the profits and generates the success in the company. Leadership is very important for the success of the business so to makes effective leadership there are some qualities that need to be possess in the leader. Then after that employees needs motivation to generate effective working in the company, to maintain organizational motive there is a essential need motivation which based employees needs and wants .
