Leadership is the action that lead the group of people to work in a way to achieve the
common goal. Organization is logical collection of the relevant things, organization have the
people who work collectively in achieving their goals. This report will evaluate
Transformational leadership is a type of leadership who identify the want of change and
motivate the employees to view. This leadership makes individual to contribute great efforts in
there work. Further, evaluating, Autocratic and democratic are the two different styles which
help in motivating the works.
lComparison of transformational leadership with other styles
Leadership is a process of given a clear-cut vision, by encouraging with unity and
honesty will lead to clear focus on the goal. Leadership also help to reach there individual goals,
the leadership let more efficient people than themselves. An Leadership includes different types
of leadership techniques to deal with different organization structure (Sougui and et. al., 2016).
Transformational leadership help in inspiring the group of people to work and innovate, which
will lead to growth and clear the future success of there organization. These style is started by
James V., these style encourage the leaders to explain reliable, powerful leadership having the
idea to motivate peoples to follow the same. This concept can be applied in every sector or
industry like government agency, healthcare and the education fields. Transformational
leadership is iconic with its features and functions of work. Leaders faith workers and give the
respective authorities all over judgement in the job, this approach make the employees to be
creative in dealing the past issue most effectively.
There are four components of transformational leadership:
Regarded influence : The leader used to take the value and faith of its employees of
organization. Leader provides the achievable goal to the employees so that they will motivate
towards the work and perform there task efficiently (Alghazo and Al-Anazi, 2016).
Inspiration motivating : Transformational leader motivate the individual by building there
confidence. Tell them purpose of the motivation so that there vision get clear. They use to
develop the confidence by the training and the work that is assigned to them.

Intellectual encouragement : leaders used to give the opportunities to peoples to be innovative
and creative and make them learn and grow effectively. The transformational leadership give
various chance to be creative in the work and deal the issue properly (Lau Sze Chek, 2020).
Individualize thought : leadership also focus on the individual people emotionally and the want
from contribution. The leader also focus on the work and the life of individual to maintain the
health of employees they should not over burden and that will lead to sick employee and
ultimately reduce there motivation.
Transactional leadership theory this technique is managed by exception to achievement of
goal, generally there are no changes all were expected. This practise is less effective and
ultimately vary by goal and there vision. In this leadership approach the leaders gave reward and
punishments for there work, if an employee not able to complete the task on time than they will
get punishment and this will emotionally impact on the subordinate it may be positive or
negative on the employees of the company.
When we compare the transformational leadership with transactional leadership than
transactional leadership main aim is of process and the control whereas, transformational
leadership inspirational the group of peoples to coordinate, cooperate and communicate in a way
that they can clear there success vision. Transactional leadership required to follow the rules
exactly and they only want to get things done. They are not worries of employees, who they
work on the different hand, transformational leadership mainly aim in inspirational points and
with the inspiration they lead work done (Buil, Martínez and Matute, 2019). Different leaders
prefer various types of leadership, some also follow the combinations. Steve jobs is the most
iconic transformational leader. With his perfection and simpleness. Steve's use to inspire the
employees of Apple to thinks beyond the limit and made there company vision. Steve makes
sure to motive every employee in the company so that resources are well-used and there view
towards there objectives also clear. Charles De Gaulle use the transactional approach in which
Charles gives reward and punishments to the employees so that the subordinate get a different
kind of motivation and perform effectively to there best. Charles' work is to tell the employees
the clear need of the company.
Autocratic leadership theory in these types of leadership the power and the authorities are in
one hand, that can be the owner, leader or the manager. The person having the total control on
the work areas and make this own decisions and allow other in the decision-making. There are

various people who are using this technique of leadership to manage there work. But they are not
inspiration for the leaders and employees because they take there own decision so, there is no
creativity in the resolving the past issue there method remain constant.
As we compare Autocratic leadership with transformational leadership, the
transformational leader is focuses on purpose of doing the job of leader for the employees and
the autocratic leadership generally focuses on self preparation whereas transformational
leadership collect the innovation and creativity of the employees and inspire than to think more
than yesterday. There may be some similarity in both the theories of hopefulness, good moral
but the autocratic run on same model and instead of change they only whereas the
transformational leader make the regular changes in their model of work to lead effectively
(Hoch and et. al., 2018).
lImpacts of leadership style on employee motivation
Reward and acceptance : The rewards and recognition used to come together. The
recognition are very constricted support life. There can be different manner and way to provide
reward. Reward can both things like cash and impact (Hudoyo, Nurjanah and Purwana, 2018).
The motivation is very well affected by this because if an employee in going good job then they
need to rewarded timely so that they get inspired towards the work. The transformational and
transactional both leadership provide the rewards to their employees on completion of their task
but transactional leader also used to punish when the employee not perform there duties well this
will demotivated the subordinates to work as they will get punishments whereas the
transformational leadership lead to inspire the employees to think good then yesterday (Boamah
and et. al., 2018).
Development : As the development play a great role to motivate the employees.
Nowadays many employees need to develop themselves timely and welling to get the monetary
payment. These sort the individual worker self-dependent and will lead to give more at the work.
The transformational leadership given personal training to the employee to work more
effectively in this leadership the employees get all the chance to build the development whereas
the other transactional and autocratic leadership approaches not focus on the development and
only have there attention to the process and control by which the employee lack there
development behind .

Work life balance : With the proper balance of work and life of individual motive to
perform better as, motivated employees will ignore the wastage of time and positive towards the
work (Sougui and et. al., 2016). In the same way if the employees are less motivated and not
able to deal with the work and life prospect then there work get hampered (Lau Sze Chek, 2020).
The transformational leadership use to thing of these point that people are having a favourable
working condition and not taking access burden and maintaining good balance whereas the other
leadership techniques are not that affective in balancing the work and life because if they will
not done good work then they will be punished and hence,they are not motivated and affect the
productivity (Andriani, Kesumawati and Kristiawan, 2018).
Work environment : Generally the motivated employees are developed in the positive
atmosphere. That includes all the environment physical and mental both in physical the
employees surrounding of the workplace, the employees do there work more effectively in open
workplace for ex., google corp. is having a awesome office because the company know how
effectively that is to make an office create. The mental or intangible environment that affect the
motivation of an employee in the organization is there value and communication that is with
many things like feedbacks, personal development etc. the transformational leader focuses on the
work environment and take employees feedback so that employees' motivation will increase, and
they get more effective whereas transactional and autocratic leaders don't think about such
factors they need there work to complete that is only the goal of these leaders.

This report concluded that the leadership is a process of motivating the employees toward
the objective. The transformational leadership is iconic type of leadership which help to motivate
and perform the organizational activities effectively. The comparison of transformational with
transactional and autocratic leadership clears the vision of effective leadership theory that is
transformational leadership because this inspires all employees in innovation of new techniques
and provide reward and development of employees this is the points that makes transformational
leadership more effective from other leadership theories.
