This literature review examines the concept of leadership within an organization, its importance for retaining employees, factors affecting retention of talented employees, and strategies pertaining to leadership that impact retention. The research uses quantitative research methods and both primary and secondary data collection methods. The findings suggest that leadership is essential for retaining employees and that strategies such as onboarding and training, flexibility, and continuous training can impact retention. The study recommends that organizations create awareness of leadership practices among employees and encourage efficiency, recognition, and delegation of power.
