will create a problem for them.
Democratic leadership style:
Democratic leadership also known as participative leadership in which maximum number
of people can contribute in decision-making process. Democratic leadership in healthcare can be
defined as leader allows nurses and staffs to contribute in decision-making process.
Characteristics of democratic leadership can improve the workplace culture as leader involves
equal contribution of their staff which gives wide range of information which helps in decision-
making process (Chatterjee and et.al (2018)). This leadership also helps in communication
process in health care as it include equal participation of their staff. . Staff and nurses give their

communication process. Democratic leader motivates their staff and also allows them to share
information. Information shared from different staff can improve the final result. Nurse can be a
good leader because they have the responsibility to provide the better treatment to their
employee. For example if nurse does not support their team member then team does not response

treatment procedure can't be processed. Therefore, leader need to resolve this issue to provide
treatment to the safety of the patient. This leadership allows the leader to communicate their
vision and aim to their staff through which they get motivated and started their work effectively.
.
The issues and consequences can health care face as poor services for the patients. If patient

goal to modify methods and procedure, rather than blame individual team members for faults. It
helps in holding good communication with staffs as well as their patients to make them
comfortable (Murray, Sundin, & Cope, (2018)). For example, various equipments are used by
nurses and midwives to provide safe and healthy services to their patients to build more
customers at their workplace.
With democratic leadership, nevertheless, the decision-making procedure is slow due to
rise in involvement of all team members (Perez, (2021)) In few cases, the engagement may make
anxiety for faculty who has little experience, while allowing much knowledgeable staffs to have
dis-appropriate power in decision-making (Ross, Exposito & Kennedy, (2020). Democratic
leaders may be top-grade suitable for situations where new relationships are being reinforced
between leadership and a unit. For example, in healthcare, when a method or procedure
betterment is imperative, a democratic leader may step in to direct a group of allotted staff to
determine modification to a policy or guidance. Among these, various are systematically
detected including, emotional ability, effectual interpersonal communication, mutually respectful
behaviour and teamwork etc. By having this leadership quality in an administration or
community can show that leadership styles are as diverse as the leaders who utilize them

Democratic leadership makes nurses feel higher than they would be otherwise. At the
workplaces they feel valued, and where their efforts are intelligibly respected and often times
taken on board, team members are probable to feel more gratification (Okpala, P. (2018)). On the
other hand, transformational leadership also assist in maintaining healthy surroundings in

leadership form is also connected with employee retention. Furthermore, midwives also effort
the leadership activities in their day-to-day activity, although they may not realize it. Theses
include prioritizing attention needs, advocating women's choices and presenting intra and non-
professional job to insure endless betterment in care standards. . One of the high-grade usage of
this leadership kind is for organization that have aim such as, having magnet-designation or
reduction in patient re-admittance rates and want to alter and adapt to acquire there. They
articulate a sight that is catchy and inspiring to followers. The visionary features of leadership are
