1LEADERSHIP TEAMWORKTeamwork is usually a collective practice. Teamwork is generally thought to be ahighly democratic entities where one single person does not work. Each and every member ofthe team works to achieve the goals and the targets. However to organize the works of theteam and to take the entire team towards the common goal it should be guided by a leader.The teams requires a strong leader so that the team can achieve their targets effortlessly(Shockley-Zalabak 2014). The team leader can keep the team accountable. In a team, the leader who leads theteam takes the full responsibility of the team by taking care of the results of the team. Aleader has to ensure many aspects that are there on line, he or she is motivated most of thetime. It helps the team to remain motivated which keeps the team accountable for their work(Ford et al. 2016).Teamwork Promotes a Wider Sense of OwnershipI feel that the team lead empowers the members of the team. It is not only aboutconcentrating and holding the powers. It is also about giving away the powers to the teammembers. The team leaders are responsible for assigning tasks to the team. It is important fora team member to understand the skill of the members of the team and trust the teammembers. It is through trust that the leaders empower the teams in order to carry out assignedtasks in the way that they see fit. The trust of the team leaders on their team membersincreases the confidence of the team members and this makes them to do their work in a moreconfident manner. It increase the engagement of the team members towards their work. Thisincreases the excitement of the team members about any project and it enables the teammembers to work diligently. The leaders must empower the members by easing up the reinsof the team members (Chuang, Jackson and Jiang 2016). It encourages the factor of HealthyRisk-Taking

2LEADERSHIP TEAMWORKAccording to my knowledge the team leaders simplify the process of decision-makingin the team. The team leaders help the team members to take the decisions carefully. Theteams who does not have an efficient leader might find it difficult to take tuff decisions whilethe members are unable to come to consensus. This enables the team to move their projectsfurther. A responsible leader ensures that all the team members understands the project goal.The team leader assists the team members in their works and contributes to achieve theexpected goal. In case a team member finds any difficulty in doing the work it is theresponsibility of the team leader to assist him in the work. The most important aspect that theteam leader must maintain is he or she should have a calm mind so that he does not get hyperin the situation of crisis when the team leader needs to stay strong (Beverborg, Sleegers andvan Veen 2015). While concluding this can be said that it takes immense effort to build a good team.The leader must therefore understand the factors that define a good team, he shouldunderstand the characteristics that define a good team and should analyze the frameworksthat are used to define good team. Self directed teamworkIn the contemporary business world, teamwork plays a key role for effectivefunctioning. I think that the key factors in teamwork include trust, communication andleadership. The language used in the article is well articulated and has been explained in goodform. This particular term carries different kinds of meanings; however, the central idea is tomake individuals work together for attaining a common objective. I felt that the matter hasbeen divided into each paragraph and it has been presented in an organized way.
