2LEADERSHIP THEORY Introduction In order to make people understand regarding the company vision, it is important for the organizationtopromotevisioninpropermanner,sothattransparencyregardingthe organizational values as well as core development strategies can ensure the trust of people in the company (Bititci, Cocca and Ates 2016). The purpose of this study is to critically analyze the case example of ‘visionary leadership at the generics group’ and describe the importance of vision and its attainability. Discussion Question 1 Visionary approaches are being considered as the effective process in which by creating and recreating the empowerment, opportunities are being introduced in the firm (Network 2016). Analyzing the case study, it has been identified that vision without action can be considered as just a dream. By continuing this, it can also be said that there are huge differences between vision and dreams. In case of a visionary leader, the person gets highly aware of the thinking process and the consequences of the thinking process are quite clear for the person who is making the vision. On the other hand, in case of dream, the person does not have any control on the thought process. Therefore, it can be said that the major difference between dram and vision is, dreams depend on the prediction process of individuals, in which the person may not be aware. On the other hand, vision can be considered as the part of dream, however, in this process the predictions are being made by the person, when he is awake (Bititci, Cocca and Ates 2016). In the case study, visionary approaches have been mentioned as the innovation turning point in which, technological innovation as well as new ideas are being introduced. As per the study,
3LEADERSHIP THEORY visionary approaches have been mentioned as the process in which intangible ideas are being converted into tangible ideas.In the visionary process, creative ideas are being introduced and implemented. Based on the reliability of the idea, the vision is being developed. Based on the analysis, it can be said that vision is just not a dream it is the process for encouraging individuals towards achieving the goals. Question 2 The process of creating shared vision can be considered as one of the complex process, in which the engagement of individuals are being introduced. In order to create shared vision and increase the involvement of the stakeholders, significant purpose of creating the vision needs to be clarified with the individuals’ (Walter et al. 2016). It is very important for the visionary leader needs to create a compelling vision for the team. By understanding the interrelationship between the three elements of vision, the engagement of individuals can be increased. In the initial stage it is very important for the leader to clarify the purpose for developing vision. In this process, the values as well as emerging situational analysis can be done by the individuals.Current reality needs to be honestly described by the leader so that development plan can be properly introduced by analyzing the perceptions of the stakeholders. Understanding the significance of creative tension not only help to develop the key strategies for structural integrity, but also it can play an influential role for motivating individuals. An effective visionary leader also focuses on making effective interaction ion the organization so that the involvement of individuals can be increased in the case of achieving the organizational goals and objectives (Bititci, Cocca and Ates 2016). In order to create and share vision, the personal commitment towards achieving the goals can play an effective role (Scully 2015). If the proper issue and well as development concerns will be shared with the stakeholders honestly, it can play an important t role for increasing their engagement in the towards the implementation process of the vision. Question 3 The development of effective vision approach cannot be beneficial until the employees will be involved in the implementation process. In order to ensure the people engagement throughout the development process it is very important for reinforcing the vision of the company by trying to set individual and team goals. Based on the day to day experience, the company vision can be framed in effective manner (Henry and Henry 2017). The vision statements needs to be developed based on the capabilities of the employees, so that their interest towards the organizational growth can be maintained. Employees should be provided recognition against accomplishing the particular goal, which is aligned with the vision. Acknowledgement can be done through the performance appreciation. It can be assumed that based on this initiative, it will be easier for the visionary leader to motivate individuals. By providing culture centered experience to the customers, their involvement can be ensured throughout the implementation process. In order to make people understand regarding the company vision, it is important for the organizationtopromotevisioninpropermanner,sothattransparencyregardingthe organizational values as well as core development strategies can ensure the trust of people in the company. Hence, it can be said that the vision statement of the company needs a continuous focal point for that better understanding of people can be done. It is true that if the individuals will be involved in the decision making process, in that case needs of individuals can be analyzed by the organization. Question 4 In order to maintain the growth consistency and engagement of stakeholders, attainable vision needs to be introduced by the organization. By continuing this, it can be said that vision should have the clear direction. It cannot be denied that setting an effective vision can bot ensure the company success. By continuing this, it can be said that by setting the fixed target, business direction can be developed. In the competitive business environment, attainable vision has become necessary so that adoption ability of changes can be analyzed (Bititci, Cocca and Ates 2016). If the vision approach will not be attainable, in that case the unrealistic approaches creates barrier for implementing progressive decisions. On the other hand, unrealistic vision also play an influential role for creating demotivating environment in the organization. Non attainable vision approach not only creates the barrier for attending the organizational goals but also it impacts on bringing the changes in behavior of individuals. Therefore, influencing the motivational factors in the organization, the attainable vision needs to be developed. Multiple dimension of vision plays the positive role so that the organizational barriers can be reduced. Based on the attainable characteristics of the visionary approach, not only the people engagement can be ensured, but also it helps to maintain the benefit consistency. Based on solid strategy, the attainable vision can be developed. It is true that vision can be considered as the day dreaming strategy, in which the guidance of achieving strategic goals by bringing the innovation are being involved. Hence, it can be said that visionalways needs to be based on attainability characteristics so that its

Question 5 Analyzing the Generic group vision approach, it has been identified that based on the clear demonstration, commitment and judgment, the vision statement the group has been developed. by introducing the clear vision regarding making wealth through technology, the ideas have been launched. Analyzing the record of the company from 1886, it has been identified that maintaining the continuous investment in different telecommunication sectors, the values as well as vision of the Generic group has been promoted to the individuals. Based on its authenticity as well as transparency, the company has ensured people engagement in its development process. Based on the interdisciplinary culture in the workplace the company has maintaineditscontinuouscreativeinnovationpracticesin the workplace. The innovation processes of the Generic group has been introduced through the Innovation exploitation Board, the technological business opportunities have been introduced in the company. Analyzing its vision sustainability factors, it can be said that due to its unchanged organizational culture as well as strong strategic innovation initiatives, the company has gained the trust of individuals. By continuing this, it can be said that based on continuous review from the peer groups, the creative performance has been assured by the company. The creativity and innovation initiatives of the company has played an influential role for maintaining its market share consistency. Therefore, it can be said that innovation and creative initiatives of Generic group has maintained the growth in controllable situation. Hence, based on the analysis, it can be said that strong market strategy, contribution on innovation, clear strategic initiatives have played influential role for making the sustainable innovation process.
