the project manager.
1. Strong Communication
Skills
Clear and fluent articulation
of mission and vision to
influence support (Germain,
2012).
The manager must outline
project objectives, goals and
hold meetings to discuss
clearly the progress of the
project as well as any
changes that may arise.
2.Enthusiasm Passion and commitment to
achieve a particular purpose
(Germain, 2012).
The project manager should
occasionally join the project
team members in
accomplishing the goals.
3.Optimism Maintenance of a positive
attitude and hence a
supportive environment
(Nwabueze, 2011).
The manager should hold
strategic review meetings to
appreciate good work done
while criticizing unfulfilled
aspects.
4.Innovative Appreciating challenges and
adequately adapting to new
ways of operations (DuBois
et al., 2015).
The manager should be
adaptable and flexible to
embrace changes in the
environment and quickly
device and adopt new
strategies.
5.Collaboration Engaging in teamwork and
involving others in decision
making processes
(Nwabueze, 2011).
The project manager should
delegate duty to others to
develop trust as well as
keeping an open-mind to
other people’s opinions.
