INTRODUCTION
The change management can be explained as an approach that helps an organization in
determining the needs of the change within the company and how it can help the company in
bring the required changes for the purpose of enhancing the growth, development and
profitability of the company within the market (Kyumana, 2021.). The present report is based on
the study of Morrison's . The company is situated and headquartered in Bradford, United
Kingdom and was founded by Willian Morrison in the year 1899. The CEO of the company
since 2015 is David Potts and the current owner of the company are Clayton, Dubilier and Rice.
The revenue of the company as per the year 2020 is 1753.6 crores. The Morrison company offers
a wide range of products and services within the market which includes food and drink, clothing,
flowers, petrol, books, magazines and home ware and home décor products within the market.
The present report will study the current state of the Morrison's within the market and
states the changes that the organization is bringing voluntarily and the changes that have been
implemented on their own within the company. The current report will state the relationship and
the involvement of the employees within the organizational decision-making process. It also
discuss the recent changes that have taken place within the Morrison's and how the initiative took
place within the company. The present report will also study different change management
models in context the Morrison's within the market and will state how the Covid 19 has affected
the operations and functioning of the company within the market. Also, the evaluation of the
change management programme will also be done and will include the list of proposed changes
hat the enterprise needs to implement within the company as a whole.

A) brief review of the CURRENT state of the Company-
The Morrison Company was founded by William Morrison in the year 1899 as he started
the business of egg and butter merchant. This company is known for the food and grocery as they
provide fresh food which is sold in their own manufacturing facilities. This company is
considered as the fourth largest supermarket chain in United Kingdom. As of the year 2021, the
company is having 497 supermarkets across the Scotland, England and Wales. Amazon and
Morrisons are having the partnership since year 2016. Morrison is supermarket chain company
as well as it is headquartered in Bradford, West Yorkshire as well as England. The company is

having very talented and skilled food makers as well as the shopkeepers which helps in preparing
the best quality food items for the customers (Ouassini, 2018). This enables the Morrison
company to stay ahead in the highly competitive marketplace. This company became public
limited company in the year 1967 which was listed on the London Stock Exchange for the first
time. The company is owned by the U.S. Private equity group Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R)
since October. This company now has very larger presence in the England as it has very broad
supermarket chain all around.
To run and drive a supermarket business, they adopted the strategic planning and various
methods to develop the organization at successful level (Motson, 2021). Their main aim and
motto is to help the customers by providing all the essential daily needs of a human being at
affordable prices at one place only which supports all kind of gender to fulfil their needs.
However, Morrison's adopted the strategies to create a positive working environment and culture
from which they can satisfy the employee and customers as well which leads their company to
grow and develop in definite manner but the major concern has been evaluated in the company
that is lack of motivation which makes the company to not obtain the expected and desired
outcome and result. Currently, the company is using the different strategies and techniques at
their workplace, but they are essentially needed to keep their focus on employee and their
motivational areas which can drive the business more successfully (Bozic, Siebert and Martin,
2019).
Supermarket business have tough competition in the market where Morrison's has aim to
help their customers by making every penny go further and save their money on each day with
the products and items of the company. They deliver the better customer service to their
customer and always puts the efforts to make the improvements as per the customer needs and
requirements and can build their business to grow and develop in definite manner. However, the
company has needed to improve and change their strategic management process which can help
and support the supermarket business to grow at successful level.
B) Involvement &relationship with the Company
Business relations are the connections which exists between all the employee and staff
members who engage in commerce. The relationship between the stakeholder or employee
should be very accurate and positive which can drive the business to obtain the profitable
outcome and can lead the company at successful position. The connection between an employee
