Crate a portfolio of evidence of learning and development during the module
Academic Writing:
I have learnt from academic writing about the way of thinking and writing entailment due to
which an individual can develop themselves into positive manner. From Academic writing I have
also learnt that why there is requirement of referencing within the content and in which manner
referencing needs to be done. I have learnt that why the content needs to have proper evidence so
that it can validate the content into accurate manner.
Formatting Skills:
From the formative skills, I have learnt about the significance of formatting skills in academia
and also gives the understanding that in which manner formatting skills help in terms of
improving the matter into positive manner. I have also learnt that how to focus on the efforts on
content and also facilitate the practice of discipline and adherence to standards. From formatting
skills , I have develop the basic understanding about the consistency level within the content.
Literacy Review:
I have learnt from literacy review that it allows me to seek out the information and explore the
subject into deeper manner and also gain the understanding of world from the perspective of
deeper way. Literacy review help me in terms of getting the overview of published research on a
topic so it will ultimately increases my potential level of doing research into deeper manner. It
help me in terms of raising the standard of knowledge of a particular field.
Software Practice:
I have learnt from software practice that how to streamline the work flow and process into
positive manner. I have also learnt that how to enhance the automation within the operation part
and schedule into hassle-free manner. The practice of software enhances my technical skills due
to which I feel more confident about my work and from academic point of view as well. I have
also learnt from software practice that how to reduce time and fast the procedure of execution of
task into proper manner.

Plagiarism:
From the plagiarism, I have learnt that there is no requirement to copy and paste the content into
inappropriate manner. Plagiarism basically guide us in the form of improving the content in your
own language and it is that kind of parameter which talks about taking responsibility of their own
actions. The most important thing which I have learnt from plagiarism is that to learn from the
failure into result oriented manner.
Self Assessment:
I have learnt from self assessment that what are my own personal strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats for my overall development. From the self assessment, I get more
serious about my own learning and help in terms of developing my own judgemental skills.
There is not any kind of pressure when evaluating themselves because I try to analyse myself
into deeper manner. I can also analyse from self assessment that it support me in terms of
analysing about my own knowledge gap as well. So self assessment is very important for further
growth and development.
Grammatical Skills:
This skill help me in terms of improving my communication skills whether it is in the form of
verbal or written. I have learnt from grammatical skills that how to be accurate in terms of
language and pronunciation parameter as well. From this skill, I am able to raise my confidence
level to a next higher level. This skill give me basic understanding about the use of words and
punctuation in order to get the meaning across in a way that most readers can understand.
Presenting with power point:
I have learnt through presentation about the skills which are required for further positive growth.
I have also learnt about certain methods of presentation which includes flip charts,
transparencies, Prezi, power point and key notes as well. I have learnt about how to make
presentation into positive manner.
Referencing:
I have learnt that academic writing requires evidence, citation and referencing so that content
becomes real, practical and evident as well. I have also learnt that where is the requirement of
referencing within the academic content and why there is requirement of referencing within the

content. I have learnt about Harvard referencing and in-text referencing as well. I also get the
basic understanding about why there is need of referencing in order to achieve positive results.
Data interpretation:
The skill of data interpretation help me in terms of making the data-driven decisions. The
findings and insights that I have got from interpretation can be support in terms of spot trends in
a industry or sector. From the skill of data interpretation I have learnt that the interpretation help
me in terms of improving my analysing power and evaluation power as well which will be
helpful in terms of solving the problems into fast pace manner.
Research Skills:
I have learnt from research skills about the way of searching of information so that results can be
achieved into fast pace manner. From these skills I have also learnt about how to pay attention on
the detail and also about taking notes as well. Through research skills I have learnt about time
management, problem-solving and also about communicating results as well. These skills also
help in terms of making the content more relevant, analytics, specific and realistic as well. So in
the overall manner, I have learnt that without these skills it is impossible to give proper research
about a particular matter.
Thinking into character:
This skill help me in terms of improving my thought parameters and level of analysis as well. It
inspires me to perform into more better manner and also motivates to give best results to the
concern authority. This skill gives me basic understanding about the nature of character so that I
can think from the bigger perspective as well.
So these are the learnings which I have learnt from different projects and modules as well.
Summary about choices of portfolio contents
From the above portfolio contents, I have learnt about twelve topics which include
academic writing, formatting skills, literacy review, software practice, plagiarism, self
assessment. In addition to this, there are grammatical skills, thinking into character,presenting
with power point, research skills,referencing and data interpretation. In the overall manner, i
have learnt that writing at academic level requires smartness within the content so that content
becomes effective. According to changing period of time, there are up gradation into
technologies and accordingly there is requirement of developing skills according to

organisational requirement. I have also learnt that formatting skills are important from
perspective of improving the content into positive manner. I have learnt from literacy review
that it allows me to seek out the information and explore the subject into deeper manner and also
gain the understanding of world from the perspective of deeper way. Within the academic
writing, i have learnt that there is requirement of referencing so that content becomes more
