INTRODUCTION
The ideal classroom is the positive place where the student get an learning environment
that aims towards the specific goals that are set in front of them in the class objectives. For the
productive learning and positive learning environment, compassionate, confident, organized and
positive teachers are important. In order to feed the students with effective learning and to
maximize their engagement into the class the teachers must incorporate fun into their teaching
methods, create safe environment, articulate regular feedbacks and much more. The current
presentation at “Back to School Night” is for the sixth grade class students, their parents,
caregivers and other interested parties. This presentation is created to inform the audience on
how the school is planning to create the productive learning environment for the school year.
MAIN BODY
Explain the strategies you intend to use to keep students on task, thus maximizing the benefits of
your classroom activities and lessons.
A teaching strategy or technique is the method used to convey the information and
knowledge to the students. There are different strategies that teachers need to opt at different
time for different subjects in order to maximize the learning of the student and also to keep the
student in task. The strategies that school will use to keep students on task are discussed below:
Incorporate the fun into teaching methods: In order to keep the students engaged into the task
it is important to add fun to the assignments and daily learning patterns. For example their will
be educational activities like pop quizzes with the regular teaching in order to keep the students
on task actively. Also to add fun to the teaching methods the teacher of the school will create
comic strips, animations and even watch film that relates with the subject of the class discussion.
Even to add more fun the teachers have strategy to create a treasure hunt game for the students
which will include map that can be deciphered by solving riddles, clues and hints that are given
in class. All such fun activities are highly effective and efficient in keeping the students on task
and also this will maximize the class lessons and activities.
Encourage the collaboration among students: working individually or in isolation is seemed
as boring for the students after sometime. Therefore this reduces the student’s interest into the
task due to which students decline in maximizing their learning from classroom activities.

Therefore, in the school teachers encourage the collaboration among students through team
working assignments and activities which develops the team working skills among student and
also at the same time help them in maximizing benefits of the classroom lessons.
Address different learning styles: In a classroom students just stay active and keep up with the
task in order to increase their learning abilities as well as to gain optimal knowledge from the
classroom activities and lessons. But, every student has different in their own way of learning
which an important factor in order to keep student on task. Therefore teachers in the school have
a strategy to address different learning styles such as linguistic learners are involved into word
game stories brief lectures whereas the visual spatial learners will be provided with taking notes,
pictures, models, charts etc. Thus, when the student will be encouraged and adjust with their own
learning styles they will be more interested in maximizing their knowledge through classroom
activities and lessons.
Encourage classroom participation: foreign student to be focused and keep attention towards
the task it is very important to contribute into the strategies that increase the student’s
involvement into classroom activities and lesson. For this teachers will encourage students by
asking questions regarding the class in assignments before and during the task. The thought of
question asked by the teacher will make the student learn and stay focused and also the question
that requires input from all the students will encourage student’s participation in learning through
classroom lessons.
Explain how you will respond to and address minor misbehaviours and serious/chronic
misbehaviours in the class. Discuss one or two outside agencies that can help yield a safe
and supportive learning community.
Student misbehaviour in the classroom is unacceptable as this encourage the other students
for the same and blurs the grounds of ethics, manners, discipline and etiquettes among the
student in very small age. This may result into some serious crime or mis-happening in future.
Therefore, for the teachers in the school it is important to address and respond strictly to the
minor and serious misbehaviours in the class. Some common examples of misbehaviours among
students in the class are: disruptive talking, chronic avoidance of work, clowning, interfering
with teaching activities, harassing classmates, verbal insults, and rudeness to teacher, defiance,
and hostility and much more. It is critical to have a plan ahead of time on how to handle student
misconduct. Correction procedures can occur only when they decrease misconduct they have

long addressed. The ways to respond and address minor misbehaviours and serious/chronic
misbehaviours in the class are discussed below: Ask student to describe the behavior: Sometimes to address and respond to the
misbehavior among the students to teachers must politely ask the student the reason for
the behavior as change of emphasis is a part of teaching. Students must be given an
opportunity to come up with an excuse for honesty of doing such misconduct. This
strategy is that students describing their own behavior will make them responsible and
accountable for their actions and bring honesty which can be converted into the cause
constructive feedback there the teacher can simply ignored the misbehavior and turn that
into a student’s dignity and positive behavior of accepting the mistake. Logical consequences: One of the most important things to keep in mind of the teachers
by responding towards the chronic or serious misbehavior is to address the behavior as
quickly as possible. For the students behavior must be given an immediate feedback from
their adults like teachers in order to break the moment about to get them back off the
track of misbehavior. This is strategy in which students will have to take responsibility
for their bad actions through punishment. Also, this warns other students as well that
there are always strict actions for the misbehavior in class.
Acknowledging good behavior: in the school when the teachers will praise, reward and
acknowledge the good behavior among the other students this encourage the other
students to behave similarly. This will also stop the students from getting trigged for the
bad behavior as the in classroom when other students see teachers acknowledging the
good actions of others they also get encourage acting same.
There are the outside agencies that can help yield a safe and supportive learning community in
the school. National centre on safe supportive learning environment is one of such agencies that
aim to connect between schools and students on order to serve them with positive learning
outcomes. The national centre on safe supportive learning environment works on three pillars
engagement safety and environment the company instruct to improve the school's environment in
order to provide the students with support and respond to student social, emotional, behavioural
needs in the classroom. In order to support positive learning environment within the classroom
the agency explore how effectively the schools can implement resorted practices in school that
would assess the school safety accessibility and support the social and emotional learning needs

of the students. The notion that community has important role in the education of the students
this agency is partnering with the community members in order to ensure safety and provide
support to the learning community two libraries law enforcement child welfare and other
protective factors that contribute towards the students learning as well as efficiency and effective
in addressing the miss behaviour was conducted by the students.
Select strategies to work effectively with students and their parents to evaluate diverse
characteristics in their learning experiences
The classroom there is a diversity of characteristics in terms of students teaching styles
learning patterns as the diversity improves critical thinking build empathy and increase the
students to think differently out of the box. In this school teachers have to select strategies that
could work effectively with the students and their parents in order to identify the diverse
characteristics and their learning experiences. The ways that works effectively with students and
their parents to evaluate the diverse characteristics of learning experience are discussed below:
Promote project based learning: in order to work effectively between the students and their
parents the most differentiating pattern of teaching is considered as the project based learning
teachers must assign the poster project or different project based assignment to the students for
their home which will be effective in evaluating their diverse characteristics of learning
experience between the student and their parents. This strategy work effectively with the students
and their present parents as it helps the students to understand what they are being taught through
hands-on methods and also their able to work together with their parents in order to solve real-
world problems. This helps teachers to evaluate the characteristics of the opportunity of
practising collaboration and students focus activities that provides them and scenario to make
materials and resources more relevant in their learning experiences.
CONCLUSION
From the above analysis it is concluded that for the students to have active learning it is
important to improves new teaching strategies that has potential to foster the engagement and
encourage of learning among students. Also it is important to address the behaviours of the
students firmly in order to stop rather than trigger them at the next stage. Thus, for the effective
learning of the student the collaboration of the parents is also essential as this brings values and
encouragement to the students learning.
