The legal and regulatory framework of the
travel and tourism sector
The legislation of the following consists of the following acts:
Development of the tourism act, 1969: this act was introduced by
BTA (British tourist authority), the main focus of this act was to
maintain the coordination between the various organisations
involved in the tourism sector. The tourist board of England,
vales, Scotland also follow this act.
Transport acts 1980 & 1985: the licensing laws had been
terminated by the introduction of the act of 1980.

Consumer protection from unfair trading regulation: to protect
the tourist from any unfair practice
Health and safety regulation: to insure the health and safety of the
customer
Licensing law 2003:licence for selling the alcohol in the premises
without the permission
