INTRODUCTION Legislation is the act or process of commencing any of the new law with the country. It is necessary because it commences any of the new law within the country, just to maintain the peace and silence. In this particular project, various law and regulation will be discussed and they will be related with equality that should be given to each and every person at any place. Proper investigation will be done on legislation that how many of the law and regulation are their which has been commenced by legislative body. MAIN BODY P3 Identify the range of legislation designed to implement equality, diversity and fair treatment in public services. There are number of laws and regulation which do commences on regular basis. It is necessary that all of those laws must be followed as per the given criteria. In this field, the legislation of UK has been working really well due to which chances of discrimination has been reduces and every individual are being treated equally and that is one of the positive sign for the nation. The legislation relating to equality, diversity and inclusion of fair treatment in public service helps or even protect from discrimination on the basis of age, sex, ethnic, religion, disability. It has been clearly mention in the law that everyone must be treated equally and for that number of laws and regulation has been commenced. Equality Act 2010is the law which has been enforced just to make sure that people are not being discriminated on the work place or within the wider society. It is one of the law which has replaced the number of law such as Sex Discrimination Act 1975, Race Relations Act 1976 and even Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (Equality Act 2010: guidance, 2019). If any of the person is found guilty by breaching the term and condition of equality act, 2010 then legal actions are being taken upon the person have committed the civil wrong. Employment Equality Regulation 2003is among one of the problem which tells each and every people who work in the premisses of office must be treated equally and they must get the chance to show their talent. If in case any of the person fails to comply the law then legal actions can be taken. It has necessary that people should be given equal rights and opportunity but every time it is not that easy and possible to give them and due to which there are some of the situation where government have to declare their decision which is totally biased. To commence any of the new law and policies, it is necessary that government need to understand that what are those circumstances where decision are biased. Unconscious biasis the situation where supreme authority try to understand the problem in detail and at the time of declaring the result they declare those decision which are not favourable and totally against the situation (Stephenson, 2017). This kind of decision create unnecessary problem due to which it never becomes easy for any of the person to accept in it. All of this terms are not favourable for the society because it do create various kind of issues to which number of people have to suffer in their life. It is necessary to understand about all of the given term because it create negative influence within the society and doesn't all people to live happily. If it will be possible to understand about every situation that what are the main reason behind discrimination then new law and policies can be formed and they will have a positive impact upon society. There are number of laws for providing fair decision and treating everyone equally but still it has been found that those laws are not being followed and that is the main reason to understand that what are the chances which can be done if biased results can be found (Klein, 2016). Discrimination is mainly done in the society and office premisses and it is important to understand that why it is being done within the office so that new lawsfor providing equal rights to male and female employee's. This is even important because it will help to find the major reason behind the discrimination and biased decision. In any ofthe situation, the role of advisory is must crucial because it try to judge the situation so that new laws and regulation can be formed for the purpose of obtaining the better and provide equality to the society. Advisory service will have to overview of office premisses that what are those condition and cases where discrimination is being done and what they are being done. The advisory service have the power to file the case against those employer who does discrimination with their employee's either on the basis of caste, gender or working ability. Advisory services is the one who can help out the people to understand that what are those laws and regulation which has been commenced for their personal benefit by giving them the knowledge about different act which has been enforced for their betterment. 3
Advisory committee has the big role to play as they will need to take legal action against those employer who doesn't give fair and equal opportunity to their employee's for showing their skills and talent. They are the one who need to make sure that proper laws and regulation is being applied which is helping overall to maintain the situation. They will have the role to play where they will need to understand that how are disable people is being treated by the employer and whether they are being paid fair amount of wages or not and if not what is the main reason. Even they are the one who is required to give legal solution to the employer or employer who seeks it. Also, they have the to refer people who cannot or do not wish to go down to the road to conciliation or mediation services which helps to resolve the problem (Equality Advisory and Support Service, 2019). In addition, they have the role to guide any of the organisation that what are those policies which they are required to do and what is needed to be done if any of the law and policies are not being followed. They are the one who give proper guidance to employer that how they are required to treat every employee's. Things are required to be changed in public organisation and that can only be done with the help of laws and polices which has been commenced. For example: TESCO is one of the pubic company but still they are required to face various kind of issues within their organisation because they the one who doesn't follow the rules and regulation due to which they faces number of problem(Modood, 2016)(Bowl, 2018). Even senior staffs doesn't try to solve the problem and that is one of the reason that performance of company has been reducing day by day. CONCLUSION From this respective, it can be clearly understood that legislation is one of the most important topic which need to be followed by each and every person. Legislation takes the responsibility to commence the law as per the requirement of situation due to which effective results can be obtained. There are number of act like Equality Act, 2010, Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and many more which helps to obtain better result for judging every people equally.
