This written assessment task assesses the knowledge of diagnosing and repairing light vehicle drive shafts. It covers topics such as diagnosing light vehicle drive shafts, repairing and testing light vehicle drive shafts, and completing work processes. The assessment includes 52 questions comprising of multiple choice, true and false, fill-in the gap and short answer questions. The assessment must be completed in a classroom under the supervision of a trainer/assessor. The student must answer all questions in their own words and handwriting. The assessment is open book and students can use the resources listed in the 'Resources Required' section. The assessment must be demonstrated in the workplace or in a simulated environment that reflects workplace conditions.
