This research proposal aims to investigate the contribution made by line managers and leaders in terms of employee development in ASDA. The study will identify the role of line managers and leaders in employee development, determine the impact of effective role execution by line managers and leaders in talent management, and analyze the challenges faced by line managers and leaders during implication of talent management practices. The research approach will use a positivist philosophy, quantitative methodology, and survey technique. The study will involve 20 managers as respondents to gather information.
