INTRODUCTION
Literacy resources basically refers to the things or sources which are used by the parents or
teachers in order to develop understanding among the children regarding the world. The current
report studies about several type of literacy resources that are used to develop literacy among the
children from infant to their foundational year in school (Whittaker and et. al., 2016). It works
over five major resources like oral, written, digital technology, storytelling and critical literacy in
contrast of using them with several different stages or age group of children for developing their
mind and learning.

From the above-mentioned information, it can be summarized that literacy teaching starts at
very beginning stage of the children. with the help of the literacy strategies or approaches a child
is being introduced with the world, objects, words or things so that they become able to
understand things bitterly and develop their mind for dealing with the world. This creates a
foundation of children for their better future development and success.
