INTRODUCTION
Literacy resources basically refers to the things or sources which are used by the parents or
teachers in order to develop understanding among the children regarding the world. The current
report studies about several type of literacy resources that are used to develop literacy among the
children from infant to their foundational year in school (Whittaker and et. al., 2016). It works
over five major resources like oral, written, digital technology, storytelling and critical literacy in
contrast of using them with several different stages or age group of children for developing their
mind and learning.
Resource 1 Oral Language - Infants

The oral language literacy for
infants is consider to be more
important as they are new to
world and by this support
babies in making a connection
between words and develop an
ability to listen, understand,
watch and speak.

The infant literacy through
oral language is a practice
which basically used to
develop the mind of new born
babies as they expose to
wondrous things through their
eyes, nose, mouth, ear and
fingers. Hence, the infants are

through several sounds along
with expressions and gestures
in order to make them
understand regarding several
things and develop their
minds.

al., 2015)

improving their language.
